The phone went dead and Loki shut it off. Putting his phone in his pocket, he suddenly realised that he had nothing to do. He’d gotten dressed up and even had his throwing knives, and suddenly being told to wait for a while put him into a state of confusion. Too bad I didn’t take my DS. Loki thought. Guess I’ll take a walk. Loki turned left from the front of his apartment and began walking, but turned on his heel and advanced on a couple of people talking. Something in their conversation caught his ear. It went something like this: “Did you see that fighter jet fly past?” One of them asked the other. “Yeah, it flew pretty low for a jet.” The other replied. “And I think it fired something?” The first asked. “I don’t know, maybe…” The second replied. Loki walked up to them and interrupted their conversation. “Say, what was that about a jet?” Loki asked. “Oh, A jet just flew past a little while ago.” The first guy said. “Which way?” Loki asked. “Just that way.” He replied, pointing the opposite way of where Loki was going. “Alright, thanks.” Loki said, walking in that direction. It sounded like something fun might be happening over that side of town, and he didn't have anything to do anyway.
