GG Lucius was my character's dad, now I have to make convincing character turmoil. Welp time to get crackin, in more ways than one.

Heh, I could see Damian passive-aggressively asking questions about engines and shit if he ever caught Jason tinkering with his motorcycle. I'm sure Bruce won't mind if we give the Batmobile a few upgrades...namely making it able to fly. Who needs the Batwing?

He did in the comics, I wasn't sure if I should slightly alter what Damian's capable of for this incarnation or not so I tried to be a bit vague about things like designing the flying Batmobile and whether he was involved in Wayne International until I could figure it out but Traveler's other stuff mentions Damian at least trying to get involved in the company and presumably he was at least requisitioning parts through Lucius and/or consulting with him about the design (If he's not too completely egotistical to collaborate with anyone). At least since a kid asking for the kind of parts needed for a flying car design by himself might look weird even if it's Bruce Wayne's kid. Also I may have been joking. As far as Damian and Jason semi-secretly bonding over engines and stuff I could see it happening. Also yeah, Damian would probably be the first to point out that both Lazarus Pits and super-science regenerative medical technology exist. and again, feel better soon! )=

Well, Freeze did tell them to promptly get the hell out of there, don't know if he meant "Kill everyone first" or just "Get out. Now." so they could just sort of kick Jason down a flight of stairs and throw Cassandra around and disappear after blowing the roof as a distraction? Surely the majority of people are out of there by now, and the bats have a tendency to survive explosions and falling debris.

Looking at it, Freeze's message actually seems to read more as "Kill the rest of the targets" and doesn't say anything about leaving since it's just phrased as "Clean up the rest". My personal preference is that we survive and the Manor doesn't get blown up but I'm not sure how we manage to even know there are bombs up on the roof IC. I mean, if one of us gets outside would we see the bombs up there just lining the roof? So we might have to knock out the TANDEMs or kick them out OR if we can't figure out an IC reason they would be disarmed I guess they could interpret "clean up the rest" as leave and blow up the mansion with the Batfamily inside...which we would probably all survive because that's how these things go. Also thinking about what Damian's been up to, since he hasn't been actively involved in the fight he could've gone to defuse the bombs if he knew they were there but unless he went out and was able to spot them IC I don't see that happening on my end. On the other hand if they don't just blow up the manor and we have to fight them off I have a fun idea for throwing him back into the fight also Metronome! Feeling any better?

Well I could have my guy follow freeze out then lose him or get frozen, but I think that's kind lame. But if we really are trying to find ways to save the manor maybe one of us could disarm the TANDEMs when they pull out the detonator? If they have one, they could also be timed.

Technically we aren't trying to find ways to DO anything in particular so much as figure out what thing make sense for the characters to do/what makes for the best story I guess. in that same vein if you feel like chasing after Freeze even if he's clearly getting away is what Luke would do, maybe because he's not thinking straight from anger and grief after watching an ice-themed supervillain pull a Temple of Doom on his dad's heart, then I say go for it. Whether the bombs were timed or set to a wireless trigger is a good point and we could always attempt to knock the detonator away if it's not timed. I was considering maybe having Damian sweep the roof for bombs because bringing the building down on the target is what he might think of doing if he were trying to guaranteed kill a bunch of people at a party and cause mass tragedy, but I'm not sure how authentic that feels. I think he'd be potentially more likely to focus on coming back to beat up the TANDEMs now that most of the civilians have been evacuated. Anyways, Freeze's orders to the TANDEMs seem to have just been 'clean up the rest' so they can interpret that as "Try to knock Cassandra and Jason away then try to blow up the building while escaping" "Stay and try and shoot the rest of the people there" or lots of other things. Edit: going back to the original question, if nobody else could have found out that the bombs were there, I guess they would blow up since no one knew to disarm them.

Luke shouldn't know anything about his father being killed at the moment because that scene happened outside the Manor. I think the bombs on the roof should go off. Kate's still behind a tipped over table for cover waiting for a moment of opportunity to take down the TANDEMs and Steph hasn't established what she's doing yet. Unless Damian got stuck under the pile of socialites he presumably snuck down to the cave to change into Robin. I had an entrance idea for him if the fight continues, but I'm not sure if that happens if the TANDEMs blow up a good portion of the manor.

I partially agree with this, if anything, it'll just give us a new source of light (I can hear you hissing, stop that.) for a couple months while the manor gets fixed up, so really not that big a deal. The cave is presumably still intact, Jason has his own places with his own gear, as does Kate and presumably the other adult members of the family.

I don't think they should be; none of the bat-brats in the immediate vicinity has any gear on them or the ability to catch up to them if they really high-tail it out of there, not to mention they'll probably kick Jason and Cassandra out of the way. Mayhaps Cassandra could slip a tracking device onto one of them? Depends on the direction Xtreme and Metronome want to go with the arc really.

Well, if anything, he'll pop out of the cave to see a brand new hole in the roof and nobody around and Jason will give him a snarky "What took you so long?" or what not.

My explosives were right where they always are and you ALL saw it! I refuse to be incriminated! ...although It's about time! I've been itching to blow up this hallway and start again for AGES! Drake! Get my architect on the phone while I look up a contracting company that isn't full of brigands!"" So yeah, I'm fine with that plan if everyone else is!
