Kensington kept his ear on the voice in his headset as he received his message, trying his best to drown out everything else from sounds breaching his headphones to distracting thoughts such as a mental recap of recent events. Hearing the order to return home the fox let out a shuddering sigh under his breath, letting go of his energy to replace it with relief. It's over for now.. Time to go home. He thought as he regained his composure and spoke first into his headset, ensuring he was communicating with the control tower. "Understood, I'll just warn the guy about the threat ahead and double it back." He replied before switching channels to the direct line he had established with the landcrawler. "Skyhawk to landcrawler be advised: You might encounter some hostile individuals who had fled from the field of combat. If need be find a detour and steer clear of the direct path. That's all I can really report to you guys... Good luck out there." The airman said in his firm tone with his right hand pinching the headset so to hold the mic still before he went back to accessing the controls and making his way back home, exhaustion finally setting in from today's run. Hopefully nothing will interrupt his trip home, but he was dead set on making sure he made it without needing to fill a bed in the infirmary for the night.
