Well I would be game for this. Ironclad was a quality film and getting that gritty feel could be fun to play with. 

Though I do have one question. About King Harold is he more of a King John in reality: a hard-working administrator, an able man, an able general with a terrible tendency to crush those that all opposed him. Or is he more of your crazy, tyrannical, hammy, villainous type?
