Cruor Cruor had barely avoided getting scorched by the ash cloud explosion, and by the time he had regained his senses, the battle was over, and a crowd had formed near an alley. He was quick to approach, and was able to witness the Syndicate member drain the sand conduit of his power. He refrained from firing the volley at the wall, knowing it would do no good. He instead followed Scorn away from the scene, a dark rage forming in the back of his mind. How dare those syndicate pigs take that man's god given gift, when he catches that man, he will be sure to make him scream, oh how he shall scream. Upon hearing Scorn's request, he closed his eyes looking for any melodies that seemed to be of any use. He found two, both on top of rooftops, and was quick to point them out to Scorn. One drew his interest in particular, he'd remember that sound anywhere. 'He must have reconsider Natasha's offer.' "If you'll excuse me Scorn, I'll go check on the one over there, you go to the one on the roof of the building with the bird on it. Since that bird wasn't there before, I can already guess what his power might be." With that being said, Cruor rushed to the building, quickly climbing up the structure using both his hands and tendrils before he jumped over the edge of the building, and landed right behind the man, his hood over his head and leaving only his insane grin visible to the him. "Looks like I should let little Natsha do the recruiting more often, that is, if you came here to join us. If so then follow me and we'll get you a good meal, and maybe a shower while we're at it." He pulled down his hood, showing his eye filled with welcome and his smile now warm and inviting. Ash Ash had been about to bombard the sand sphere when Order took it upon herself to deal with it, followed by Scorn finishing the fight with a bang, getting sand everywhere. Once he had gotten it out of his eyes, he had wished he hadn't, as he saw the Syndicate member drain the sand conduit and then disappear into the shadows. Damn those assholes, they were only adding to the problem, making conduit's afraid and more likely to lash out with their abilities. With a sigh, he landed near the crowd, catching sight of Cruor going up a nearby building and Scorn standing near Order. He considered trying to apprehend her, but decided that it would cause more trouble than it was worth. He suddenly heard rapid footsteps behind him and turned to see his a group of Vanguard members, including his top guys, Roger Jenson, a fire conduit, and Ace, a concrete conduit. They seemed ready to take on Scorn, but a motion from Ash cut them off. "Not today" was all he said, his ash armor falling away as he walked over to Cruor and Order, wooden staff in hand. He reached into his pocket to pull out a cigarette, lighting it and taking a quick drag and exhale. "Well that was a hell of a fiasco with a bittersweet pay-off. Anyway, so your this Order I've been hearing about. Definitely an interesting one with that choice of dress, I'll give you that, but that's beside the point. I'm just hear to make sure you don't cause any unnecessary trouble in the city. As you can see, we have enough with rogue's like Sandy, or nuts like Scorn here. Keep a low profile, keep collateral damage to a minimum, and stay out of the Vanguard's way, and I'm sure we'll get along fine." Ash took another long drag, before exhaling, this time the smoke coalescing into the Vanguard symbol for a second before dispersing. "You see that symbol on any building, you can go there for any assistance you may need, or if you want to get in contact with me. Oh, and do yourself a favor of avoiding the aforementioned nut, your likely to catch her insanity." Ash then turned to Scorn, taking his final drag before blowing it in her face. "By all accounts, I should be trying to bring you in, but their's already been too much damage to the city as it is, and the Vanguard will get billed for it if I cause anymore. So you get a free pass today, but the next time I see you, I'll be sure to get your crazy ass shipped back to your cell in the Cay, sure they miss you there." He flicked his cigarette away before walking back to his group, all the while standing on guard in case Scorn decided to pull something. He couldn't lie, he really wanted to take care of her now, as her and her Reapers was a massive pain in the ass, but if he started an altercation that led to more property damage, than the Vanguard would have to foot the bill, and they already were having financial issues as it is. What they need was a wealthy sponsor who didn't mind paying for all this shit, instead of relying on donations, but since no business man wants to invest or have anything to do with them, they had no choice but to pick their battle and try not to throw the first punch.
