So, how do you propose someone express interest in this interest check? Also, how many players are you intending on, since this is casual and not 1x1?

This can be either a 1v1 or group RolePlay.. But, whatever.. I thought it was easy to tell what I freaking wanted, which is people responding with their interest, and which they wanted to do ( Large family which can be of other people, single parent, one person family, or Apparenticeship ) but it seems people do not get it.. So, if there's a way, I'm simply going to delete this.

Usually, people present characters and are helped into the thread from there, not expressly told that they'd be yelled at or ignored because they weren't told how to perfectly jump through your hoop. Idk where you came from with your 3 posts, but here in RPG, we respect fellow players...until they act all holier than thou. Nobody will join your threads if you get snippy when they ask questions that your posts don't answer. Keep your Gary Stu, I'm not interest, anymore.

I'm with Hawlin. I was really interested in this and if you had better expressed what you wanted people to do in order to peak your interest I'd happily do this. But the forums at RPG aren't aren't suppose to be where we get ignored for not knowing what to do. I'm pretty new to the site myself after all. Now, I clicked just to see what this was all about, as I always am interested in Steampunk even if I don't really write MxM stories. However, upon reading your opening post and how you're reacting to players who are interested in your RP, it's safe to say you don't understand how this forum works. Yes, I can see you only have 3 posts in the last few days, but you really should look around at other RP's and read the guides. That way you're not acting angry or getting pissed at possible writers interested in your RP. You are posting in the Casual Interest Check, which is for people that have at least some structured RP experience/good writing ability and forming group roleplays of 3 or more players. The way you wrote this all out seemed like you wanted more of a 1x1, which is fine, but that has it's own respective section of the forum and its own rules as well. A big rule you broke was getting angry and being a tad venomous to Hawlin and Agent, who were merely asking you questions on the RP. As a GM you need to be able to answer questions, as well as be able to compose yourself without being an ass. Now, as for character making, which seemed to be the questions the other two were asking, you should have a CS up. Often times on this forum, people show interest in an RP, then will post a CS to see whether it falls into line with the story the GM wants to tell. Sometimes, people may post a CS just to test the waters, see if that will ensure them a spot, especially if an RP is getting a lot of interest checks on it from other writers. If you take anything from this, just be nice and don't get angry with your fellow Guildmates, especially if they are simply asking questions on the RP. As a once avid RPer, a big part of any successful RP is a good GM, and from the way you reacted to people asking simple questions shows you aren't prepared to really take the reins of an RP. Also, don't take my post count at face value, I was RPing on this site for around 2 years before it crashed, as well as having RP'd on several other sites before this. So around 8 years of RPing on play-by-post forums.

I don't even remember what I was typing ( I'm not going to look because of my constant bad mood from a mixture of being sick, depressed, lonely, bored, etc ) , but I don't remember getting snippy... I'm fine with people asking questions, I just don't like it when people post a character or something without even trying to talk to me about what they want / just talking with me. I'm used to the DeviantArt style things, where you post what you want / looking for, get a ton of desperate people that aren't even good at typing a sentence, and have to weed out those that seem to actually know what they're doing. But it doens't matter, I've already given up on the thought of anyone actually being interested in ever meeting my Pandora.. Who isn't a freaking Gary Sue.. I despire Gary and Mary Sues..

Please do not comment on this thread anylonger. I'm tired of it, no one was truly interested in it, I'm not having my characters called Gary Sues for no reason. Just let an admin see this, and hopefully, delete it. I'm not dealing with this, and this is the only thread you will see from me.. You seem to think that your whole "boredom, loneliness, depression, etc" gives you an excuse for acting as poorly as you have. Sorry bud, but quit trying to use your issues as a scapegoat. We all go through shit, in fact, I've recently come out of a tough time myself, but never once did I use my problems to try and justify poor behavior. It doesn't gain you any sympathy, it just makes you look dumb and like somebody who just wants attention.

If you don't want to see the thread anymore then stop clicking on it.
