I see this argument a lot, and the primary issue with it is that it glosses over how original vampire stories also had them as either the Slavic equivalent of modern-day zombies or gross smelly Eastern European goblins (Think Count Orlock and you have a pretty good idea). Besides, the enhanced physical traits show it's is a modern-style vampire, since old-school ones were on-par or often weaker than your average dude (axes stronk) and got by on hypnotic powers, shape-shifting, and in Dracula's case didn't even drink blood, but rather bathed in it to maintain his youth. 

But hey maybe these guys are from a world where Ordo Dracul finally pulled off their vampire eugenics shenanigans or something, I don't know, haven't seen these vampire dudes everyone has been talking about.
