Blayze looks at Rand as he nods to him and Blayze nods back, rising up from his kneeling position. He walks over to the Queen and stands at her side. He never permits himself to sit down, for he feels he needs to be alert at any moment, just in case any crisis happens. He looks over as a young woman rushes into the tavern and his hand itches to go back up to his bow. It’s a nervous habit of his. But he relaxes as she begins to speak frantically to the princess. He lets himself relax, but only slightly. Ha. If the Captain knew he had let his guard down on duty, he probably would kill him. He scans the tavern, looking for any sign of the Captain. He then thinks back to when he and Rand left the girls alone and swallows hard. The Captain didn’t know that neither of them stayed with the girls, when at least one of them should have. He cracks his knuckles nervously and looks over as Rand begins to speak with the lord of the town. He listens through what the Queen has to say before she falls silent. He bends his head down next to her ear, putting his lips close enough to her ear to where he could whisper. “Milady, where is the Captain? He has yet to return and I am getting very worried. With Ovorion’s spies everywhere, it is possible that he—” He freezes what he is saying, not wanting to go on. The Captain practically adopted him when his parents died and he didn’t want to think about the worst. “I apologize, m’lady. I mean not to dismay.” He stands quickly back up and rests a hand on his sword.
