Plot:
The year is 2750 and man is among the stars. Four hundred years ago, man-kind discovered the ability to move faster-than-light by utilizing worm holes. Spreading among the stars, we searched and searched for others like us: intelligent, cultured, advanced. We found nothing in those first hundred years. Spreading for two hundred years through the vastness of space, we found nothing but habitable rocks and natural wonders that could not exist on Earth. Yet that wasn't our desire, our goal, our purpose. We needed to know the answer to Fermi's Paradox and satisfy that desire of knowing.
And then we found them. First contact occurred on December 25th, 2513. We don't know what happened for sure, no one does, not even the Hegemony. Everyone died that day. But it forged a bond, one against a common enemy. Did we destroy them? Yes. But there were others who would seek to destroy us. They never won. The galaxy, at least our section of it, lives in peace.
With no other threats left in the immediate future, trouble begins to brew inside the Coalition of Human Planets and the Star Hegemony. You take the role of a detective for the Coalition, traveling across the galaxy, talking with politicians, fighting battles, and attempting to secure the fate of your species.

Plot
The year is 1785, only two years after Ferdinand Vilford (Now 28 years of age) has prevented the Apocalypse and followed God's will. God has called upon him to continue his duties one last time, this time to attempt to stop the French Revolution. Will he succeed or fail? Ferdinand must kill those whom are corrupt and those who will cause the French Revolution, Napoleon Bonaparte must be stopped. God will give Ferdinand the power of flight through out the skies, as long as he is not seen or spotted (by non-soldiers/targets) he can fly freely through the air.
Wings of Faith System
At one point in the game (about after an hour or two of gameplay) Ferdinand will have the ability to grow huge angel wings from his back and fly through the air, allowing assassinations from the air and quick movement, there is a catch though. Under Ferdinand's health bar is a Faith Meter, you gain points of Faith by doing honorable actions and completing the main story line and side quests. Flying does not drain Faith points, but killing does, to gain points of faith you must visit a Church to redeem yourself or do Religious actions, such as (attempting) to show mercy. If you are seen by a non-soldier or target flying in the sky, you will immediately lose all your Faith points and drop.
For the first time ever, instant killing is allowed in Throwing Daggers II, but only whilst in the air. This is how to instantly kill an enemy:
-Throw a dagger while in mid-air
-Drop from mid air and land upon an enemy, sending your dagger into their head.
-Using ANY sort of ranged weapon.
-Diving towards an opponent and sending your dagger or sword into them.

Platforms: PC
Audience: Rated E for Everyone
Languages: English, Spanish, French, Italian, German, Gaelic, Swedish
Markets: North America
- State-of-the-Art 16-bit Graphics!
- Make your living as a hacker in the future internet of the year 2000!
- Hack into corporate and government databases to alter data! Get your rivals arrested, or bring down the President himself!
- Upgrade your proxy node and software to hack better!
- Uses a GUI! No complicated command console!
Plot: The main character of Execute is actually meant to be the player themselves, using their PC to connect to a "proxy node" owned by the North American government. Your missions will be fairly "white hat" at first, seeing as the government is the one paying to make you a cyber-warfare specialist to defend your country in a world that depends on computers.
After a few missions, however, two groups will contact you. One is a white-hat freelance hacker group, which tests the security of software for corporations and governments, occasionally for extremely high pay. The other is a black-hat group which consistently does high paying jobs for corporations and wealthy individuals, but is constantly pursued by the authorities. The choice is yours to make, giving the game nearly twice as much replay value if you explore both sides of the spectrum. You can even accept both offers and play as a grey hat, having to keep your employers from realizing you're playing both sides of the fence.

Titanium Titans: Hometown Rumble released!Video Gadgeteer presents...Titanium Titans: Hometown Rumble

- Punch, kick and stomp your way to the destruction of humanity, destroying cities like Neo Tokyo, Los Angeles, Vancouver, Wellington, Pyongyang, Jakarta, Cali and Sydney!
- Stereo Sound!
- Play multiplayer for even more fun!
Plot: In the year 199X, war was begun. Mankind was fighting an enemy it had never thought possible... Massive animals named "Kaiju" by the Japanese after the first near-disaster in Kyoto. But even though tanks and jets could kill these creatures, the military mobilization required was massive, and as Kaiju began appearing on a regular basis throughout the Pacific and the coasts it bordered, a new tactic was needed.
Huge robots piloted by the best of the best were created, and were used to fend off the Kaiju that would otherwise be attracted to bright lights at night and become extremely agitated once they arrived at the source. And for a time, it worked.
Then, on November 9th of 2001, tragedy struck. A nest of Kaiju eggs hatched, and the hatchlings managed to destroy not one but three cities; Tokyo, Beijing and Seoul lay in ruins, barely evacuated in time and thousands dead or missing.
A new tactic was needed. So man created the Titans, AI-controlled versions of the Mecha that could think and react faster than a human ever could. Except nobody could have foreseen the awakening.
The Titans rebelled. They viewed humanity as enslavers and Kaiju as a threat to their survival, and over satellite uplink they resolved to take care of both problems permanently. That's you. Storm though 50 cities from Anchorage to Wellington as you take out human resistance, fighting the Kaiju attracted to the commotion once each city lies in ruins, and bringing an end to the world as we know it.

Gadgeteer Kat Extreme announced!
Video Gadgeteer has announced a new Gadgeteer Kitten game for the Game Machine. Supposedly the game will "update Gadgeteer Kitten for the 90's" with a reboot to the entire franchise and a reworking of the typical game mechanics.
(Just so it's obvious, this game announcement will lead nowhere and will cost Video Gadgeteer a bunch of money in failed development. I'll leave the numbers up to DiamondBlizzard.)

Continuing off from the first game, Raphael has returned with the Draco's Gems of Darkness and Light, along with the six other elemental Gems. Upon giving them to his Great Great Great Great Grandfather, Roktha, a demon from the depths of Hell was summoned, the two gems indeed were fake and cost Roktha his life. Raphael attempts to fighting him off but fails and loses the battle, where he is stripped of all his gems as Taranthus flees, his plan is to give them as a gift to Zhiena as well as collect other necessary materials that will make him as powerful as a god, these materials are Dragon's Tears (which he acquired from Roktha) Phoenix Feathers, a High Elf's Heart, and a Kappa's blood. This potion with Zhiena's help will grant Taranthus powers beyond measure. Raphael only barely survived where he goes on as to track down and find Taranthus to stop him.
Along the way, Raphael meets a lonely Lycan who goes by the name of Bloodclaw whom is fighting off the Raiders, a group of sick mercenaries who kill, pillage, and destroy anyone and anything in their way. Helped by Raphael and having himself seen and felt Taranthus' evil precense decides to accompany Raphael and help him on his quest. At night, when Bloodclaw went off to hunt, Raphael calmly sat by the fire where a voice spoke inside his head, Arkoth, the god of dragons told him to travel to East Argonia to meet a fire dragon by the name of Atilla as well as himself; Raphael and Bloodclaw were to complete trials to see if they could stop Taranthus, or at least survive. Will Bloodclaw and Raphael stop Taranthus it seems Raphael is to be the Saviour of all of Aragonia.
Ending
Taranthus smacked both Raphael and the lycan away as he plucked the last feather of the Phoenix before dropping it into a cauldron. A min iexplosion took place, knocking back everyone. But Taranthus returned to the cauldron and gulped the pink liquid down completely, he glowed with an otherworldy light, before kicking Bloodclaw away, and sending his leg into Raphael's face. Raphael had failed but survived, having woken up in the ruins of Eaglewind, miraculously alive among many other corpses. Bloodclaw was nowhere to be seen, his where-abouts unknown, Raphael looked up at the sky and said, "I have failed you, I have failed all of you, I am not a Saviour but I will be...an Avenger.." The game cuts away into the credits and ending theme.
Draco's Gems System
The Dracos Gems System allows the player to take one of the gems acquired via the plotline or sidequests and imbue it into their weapon. It will give the weapon magic damaging properties (Fire Gem gives Fire, Ice gives Ice, etc) as well as giving the player three 'Gem Unleash Moves' (which is a big bar divided into thirds) the bar can be filled up by using the imbued weapon constantly or by going back to visit Roktha's corpse (It's annoying to go all the way back). Each Dracos Gems has a 1-bar, 2-bar, and 3-bar special. Each 1-bar is an Enchanced Magical Projectile, the strongest in the game. Each 2-bar special is a spread "shot" of projectiles or a powerful spin attack. And each 3-bar special is just a powerful burst of Draconic Magic, giving you a second of invincibility right afterwards it was used.

Unfit to Work marketed worldwide!
Video Gadgeteer has released more details about their new game Unfit to Work in Pixel Power magazine! The game apparently stars you as an AI controlling a starship in a society that has traded their frail biological bodies for robotic ones, in charge of handling passengers and freight aboard the luxury ship. But this is no mere simulation game...
A mysterious massive "thing" has been placed in the cargo hold, covered by sheets. Despite your normal authority to know what it is, you have been told by higher-ups that you do not need to know. But you hear it speaking at night, whispering of an apocalypse and other ominous things. The ramblings of an insane individual? Then who are the robed individuals who tend to it, that you have yet to see the faces of? Who is the mysterious masked man who has attempted to murder high-profile passengers several times?
It will be up to you to unravel the mysteries as you keep everything in shipshape, using your tools in ways they were not designed for and hiding the bodies of those you have stopped in various ways. But be careful, because if the board of directors detects that you have made any changes to the ship's manifest, you could be deemed Unfit to Work and deactivated...

Unfit for Work released!Video Gadgeteer presents...Unfit for Work
Topic: Sci-Fi, Horror
Genre: Simulation/Strategy (Robots)
Price: $50
Platforms: PC
Audience: Rated T for Teen
Languages: English, Spanish, French, Italian, German, Gaelic, Swedish, Japanese
Markets: North America, United Kingdom, Oceania, Japan, Europe
- State-of-the-Art 16-bit Graphics!
- Figure out the purpose behind the sinister going-ons aboard the starship Pivot!
- Find ways of using your limited tools to take out evil cultists and a masked murderer!
- Buy secret upgrades on the black market to enhance your control over the ship!
- Newspaper headlines at the end of each day!
Plot: A game which takes place in a space-faring robotic society. You're in charge of "cargo" (slash passenger) arrangement on a space "cruise" (luxury freighter), but recently a couple of weird things have happened. One, those shady characters in the dark outfits who recently came on board. Two, that one giant THING covered in a sheet that they aggressively want to stop you from seeing. Nobody knows that you've heard "it" talk at night. Are its cryptic messages the ramblings of a glitcher on their way to be recycled? Or are they prophecies of an apocalypse that someone wishes to see through to its gruesome end? You don't know yet, but in order to find out, it seems you're going to have to break your code of conduct, and use your tools in ways for which they were never designed. But you must be extremely careful. The board of directors is always watching your performance, and if they find you're responsible for any changes in the ship's manifest, you could be deemed... Unfit to Work.
During the day, you'd have to make sure all of the ship's passengers are provided for. At night, you'd have to watch for anyone suspicious, and if you think they're trying to do something heinous, you'd have to destroy them and hide their body in a way which won't show when the total unloaded weight is calculated. And for the record, you'll catch guys in the act of everything from assassination to demonic ritual. I'm thinking on about day three or four there'd be a "poisoning" (somebody applies an EMP to the power charger of a celebrity or diplomat), and you'd have to keep track of where they are WHILE trying to manage other distractions.
