Name: Jeonbae Dragon age: Grandfather/Grandpa Age from hatching: 433 Gender: Male Magic: Jeonbae can create as well as control lightning and lightning strikes and arcs. Because of this, he is one of the only dragons able to fly in a thunderstorm without getting struck by lightning. During a thunderstorm, or if one is nearby, he can call down a lightning bolt at will at any place within a few kilometers of where he is. If a thunderstorm isn't around, he can create lightning but it wouldn't be as strong as normal. In addition, with some effort, he can control electrical pulses of the nervous system within humans and some dragons, but only while in contact with them. As well as being able to control thunderclouds, he can, in a way, look through nearby thunderclouds and gain a hazy, bird's-eye view on the world below. However, it is difficult for him to control the way electricity travels in water and thus may be able to electrocute himself in some situations, albeit without much harm. An unusual aspect about his powers is that Jeonbae has learned to control it in some situations by humming. Dragon looks:

Compact looks:
His arms are covered in white fur similar to his dragon form, as well as a plate of hard bone and long fingernails, usually covered by his sleeves, as well as a pair of two small, almost unnoticeable horns often covered by a hat or bandana on his head. His eyes are purple with slitted pupils similar to cat's eyes, so he often wears dark glasses. Is often seen carrying a worn wooden staff.
Personality: Jeonbae is friendly around almost everyone, often contributing to whatever people might be talking about. In front of most people, he laughs a lot and tends to joke sometimes, and is supportive. However, he can be very analytical and even critical sometimes, noticing faults in someone, but usually chooses to overlook them and be accepting of what they are. He's a quick thinker, making him good in arguments and debates against others. While he is able to forgive others, he can hold negative feelings for a long time but normally can let go after some time. It may be hard to gain his trust, but if you can, he can be the most loyal dragon you can know. He can also get excited about sometimes superficial things in a childish way, especially rare items. When asked nicely to do something within reason, he is obliging, but he hates people who are clingy. So much. Background: Jeonbae was born in a small clutch of eggs in the middle of a large, flat plain, only three including himself. Despite what often happens, the three dragons bonded together well, forming a friendship that would last for a long time. His parents often lived outside the nearby tribe, preferring the open space of the fields. However, unbeknownst to the family, hunters had started scouting the area. One day, a group happened upon the family, and notified everyone else. Thankfully, they escaped before the hunting party could come to kill the dragons. The family moved into the tribe permanently after that. For a while, he was a bit of an outcast because he was born outside. To others, it didn't look like he minded too much, but it hurt him a little. Later, when Jeonbae became a teen at post-hatching age 50, he became interested the tribe's economy and trading. Soon enough, he was contributing to the small economy that existed between dragon tribes. For a long time he would ferry goods between tribes, often spending years away from his home. One day, when he was flying between two tribes that were a little far apart, he was spotted and targeted by a human city on the ground below. Unfortunately, he was hit by one of the city's war machines, and forced to land rather close to the city. The humans captured him out of fear of retribution, and for several months he was jailed, unable to escape. During his time there, he managed to glean a little of human trading culture and became immensely interested in the possibility of trading between the tribes and the humans. Eventually he managed to escape and run back to the tribe he was supposed to go to. He was treated for lasting wounds, but he never told anyone about his new dream. When he returned to his home tribe after a long time, he requested permission from the GreatGrandmother of the tribe if he could trade some goods between dragons and humans. She reluctantly agreed, but under the condition that it's secret. For another hundred and fifty years, he's been trading with human cities around the area, sometimes branching out to the north or south, returning to the tribe once or twice every few years. When he passed the age test to become a Grandpa, he was required to stay around his home-tribe in order to protect it and fulfill. However, by then he had amassed a decent fortune in goods, and has continued to trade with cities close by. As well as trading, he has made sure to report of any plans the human cities had against the dragon tribes to the GreatGrandmother.

Name: Ocotlantli (or just Ocotl for short)

Age: 356 (since capture)

Personality:
Largely neutral towards humans, but even though he was captured he is able to recognize that only some dislike him and will treat them kindly. Ocotl speaks slowly and carefully, if he speaks at all, which is rarely. However, he moves quickly and sharply, often being impulsive in movement only, despite his normally meditative nature. He attempts to avoid conflict whenever possible, but his cold personality can sometimes rub people the wrong way, and he ends up having to fight. Surprisingly, he has a rather dark sense of humor, even though he has almost never made a joke. He enjoys the company of other creatures, and doesn't mind being the center of attention. He'll make silent suggestions about where to go, but prefers to stay out of human affairs. Ocotl is helpful to a fault, often never hesitating to assist any sort of creature without questioning it, sometimes landing him into trouble or danger. He values kindness in a companion, and if you can convince him of it, he will be loyal to you for a long time.
Looks:

He can take almost any tree-like humanoid form he wishes, different colored leaves, different types of leaves, patterned bark, hanging fruits (sometimes edible), as well as height to a certain degree. However, he cannot discard or change his form at will once it has been made, unless it is destroyed or burned, at which point his spirit can inhabit a tree and create a new form using its energy, but destroying the tree in the process. The older or larger the tree, the more powerful he is in physical strength. The form does not naturally decompose, as it is technically alive. If he does not regain a form quickly after having his previous one destroyed, his spirit will be easy to capture, or it will eventually dissipate and he will die.
Background
Ocotlantli was created by an eccentric but very skilled Great-Grandfather Dragon many years ago with incredible power over nature in order to serve as a bodyguard and protector for him. Existing as a spirit of nature, and freely able to change forms within nature at will. Eventually, he was captured and forced into a tree, the dragon bending and shaping the tree to look like a human. He was very violent at first, the Dragon often having to restrain him using his magic. The Dragon treated him with the utmost kindness, and in time Ocotl calmed down, growing kind and loyal like his master. Over several years, the Dragon created two more creatures like Ocotl, named Ocotlihuian, and Ocotlipaquil. One day, the Dragon was set upon by a massive group of hunters, having been tipped off by a local village. They managed to surprise the Dragon, but the three warriors rushed to his aid. The battle lasted for several hours, and Ocotlihuian and Ocotlipaquil were overwhelmed by the hunters sheer force, their forms burnt to ash. Ocotlantli managed to stay strong for longer, but he too was burned up, and his master killed after the long battle, his power depleted from the long battle. Unable to stay as a spirit, he consumed a tree and created a new form for himself using it. With Ocotlihuian's and Ocotlipaquil's whereabouts unknown, and the Dragon defeated, he wandered forests and landscapes, exploring human society. However, he quickly learned that his presence was feared, and often had to take new forms, as he did not understand that humans did not like him, and got burned up. While on the outskirts of a small town one day, a young woman found him, and fearful, went to go tell the town's marshal. Just as she was about to run away, she stopped, and went back to him, becoming friends with him. After spending several weeks being friends with the woman, spending afternoons talking with her and learning about the human world, she introduced him to the townspeople. They were scared and angry at first at his strange appearance, but after some convincing by the girl, they accepted him and even started being kind to him, like the Dragon did so many years ago, realizing that humans aren't so bad after all. Some villagers taught him basic combat, and he became skilled with the sword and quarterstaff very quickly, but he ultimately disliked using them. He left the village many years ago, but still visits sometimes, preferring to wander the forests, hills, and mountains instead and discover as many new things about the human and dragon world as possible. He had recently been captured by the Hunter's Guild, his personality being ideal for a servant or laborer, about four months prior to now.
