I really enjoy reading other player's experiences...not only because it's very cool to see that there are tons of players out there, but that a lot of us had to go through growing pains in order to get to where we are now xD.

Does anyone remember MSN groups? 
That's where I got started. I was a part of several different MSN groups wherein most of my threads dealt with my male character instantly falling in love with the female character...also, I may or may not have imbued my characters with powers that essentially were the same xD. 

Once MSN groups collapsed, I joined two roleplay sites via Proboards and had a ball with a very awesome buddy, even helping in the creation of a site. I stepped away for personal reasons and upon returning to a desire for roleplaying, I found the guild about 2 years before "guildfall"(is that the official term?) and have stuck with it ever since.
