Well I'm not one to hold a grudge especially against someone like you so now that the formalities are out of the way let's begin. No doubt you have no doubt as to why I have started this thread. I want to escape the tedium of day to day life and experience a vast and incredible world that is enrapturing and will bring smiles to faces of the most of bored of people on the darkest of days and I want you to help me create a story that will live on through the ages! What do you say to that? Yes? No? What about? Well let me answer that for you then! I have a couple of original ideas that are just desperate for some nurturing and you might just find something to make blossom. Idea number 1: Have you seen chronicle? No? It's a pretty sick movie. Love it. But back to the point. You don't need to have seen it but this idea draws inspiration from there just so people know. In a world that is almost exactly the same as this a mysterious storm suddenly appears and covers the entire globe for thirty six seconds. Clouds blocked out the light, rain thundered down, lightning and thunder, and a bizarre purple glow. It happened everywhere at the same time. For thirty six seconds. Anyone who was caught out in the storm tried desperately to find shelter and if they found it in the first ten seconds then that was all well and good but anyone caught out after that began to develop telekinesis. Powerful telekinesis. It happened slowly at first but a month later most had discovered and developed control of their powers. Our Story starts about now. The world is in disarray what with these new powerful beings among mortals. Our characters will possibly have been caught in the storm and developed these powers or not. It's actually not important to the plot but there is a neat little twist which we can discuss more about in the OOC of the RP itself. Idea number 2 Pirates! Our characters are pirates! Sky pirates at that. Cool right? Yeah I thought so. It's a steampunk world floating on islands above the clouds. Our characters hoard and steal and plunder but one day they find something incredible. A map to the Fountain Of Flight. You thought I was going to write youth hey? Nah. In a flying city being able to fly would be pretty darn necessary and important. Without wings would be downright awesome. Idea number 3 I actually want to make this a group RP at some point but for now I just want to get a feel for it. A huge battle royale type deal. Hunger games style but with more of a Future Diary (Mirai Nikki) Type feel for it. In a huge industrial, futuristic city a hundred or so people have been approached by a god and given certain random powers of varying degrees of lethality. The rules are simple. Last one surviving is the winner. Winner becomes a god with his own dimension and has the ability to create life itself from nothing. In it's simplest form: Kill or be killed. Other idea exist withing the infinite wonderland inside my head but they will need to be revealed gently lest they flee in wide-eyed terror. Something easier then: FANDOOOOOMS! Anime! So much and so little time! To narrow it all down I am just listing the ones I will do an RP with. I don't ever really do canon characters. Just OCs but if you wanna do a cannon char then go for it. I tend to match my partners length (Har had innuendo ;) ) Anyway I suppose on average it would be between casual and average. 3-5 paragraphs
