Sorry to double post, but oh well. I have made my reply to you MP. Also, Keyguy, I hope it's fine with you because I just put a second part of my post (beneath the linebreak) that states that one of the exploratory vessels of the Collective has exited their quantum tunnel near Terran space. They are currently about to be under attack from some wayward pirates. If you'd like the Terrans to intervene or make contact afterwards I think it'd make for an interesting interaction either way.

If you don't want it to be in Terran space, I will edit so as to have it occur elsewhere for someone who wants to interact with them/make first contact.
