The trains offer a strong ability to Xyz Summon rank 10 monsters, and they are crazy strong, good enough to hold their own against even the mighty "Qli" deck and their "Apoqliphort Towers". And which part of my signature, the paradox or the tf2 stuff?

Yeah, powerful my hype train deck is, it's not invincible. I've had several people just Snatch Steal my Superdimensional Robot Galaxy Destroyer and destroy my back row with its eff, and I was lucky to stop it from doing too much damage.

Sorry about the lack of new post today guys. Recently at my work I have been getting manhandled (not literally.... Well sorta) and trying to balance that and my ever slipping social life is taking everything out of me at this point. So I promise I will have the post up tommorow like it's set in stone I will do it. My laptop is dead and my charger is not accessible right now so I can't make it all nice and pretty until tommorow. I tried it on my phone and well... It's pretty trashy. I usually use the XYZ mechanic, so I'll try to explain. This is a pretty common XYZ monster. Instead of a Level, it has a Rank, indicated by the yellow stars coming from the left side of the card as opposed from the right. In Utopia's case, he is a Rank 4 monster that, as indicated by the "2 Level 4 Monsters" on its card, will require exactly two monsters on the field whose levels are 4 to be placed on top of each other (overlaying) in order to be summoned. Those monsters then become XYZ Materials and can be detached from the monster to activate its effect. On that note, other XYZ monsters might require monsters of different levels (Constellar Pleiades) or more than two monsters to be overlayed (Evilswarm Ouroboros). Also, XYZ monsters come from the Extra Deck. Synchro Summoning is a bit more complicated. Here's an iconic Synchro monster. As you can see, its card reads "1 Tuner + 1 or more non-tuner monsters". A tuner monster is a type of monster specifically used for synchro summoning and, like all other non-XYZ monsters, has a level. The level of the tuner and the level of the non-tuner both have to add up to exactly equal the level of the synchro monster you're trying to summon (8 in Stardust's case). You send the monsters (known as Synchro material) to the grave, and bam, Synchro monster from the extra deck. Like with XYZ, there are other Synchros that are more complicated to pull off. Some require specific monsters or monster types to be used as a material, and others require things like 2 tuners to be used. Learning the (sort of) new mechanics might seem a bit daunting, but its not too hard to get the hang of. Once you do though, you might find that you like it and begin to make decks centered around bringing out these kinds of monsters.

As a follow up to the XYZ thing: Some XYZ monsters can also be used as materials for another XYZ monster (such as Constellar Ptolemy M7 in the case of any Constellar XYZ monster). In situations like these, all materials of the XYZ monster (if any are left) used for the summoning of the new XYZ monster become materials for that new monster.

I might make a second character that uses Ritual Beasts, though this character would likely be a girl and I've never RPd a girl before xD.

Wait they did O_O? I didn't even know about this. I mean, I did hear that they performed well at a tournament somewhere but that's about it. I did happen to beat Nekroz in a tag duel though, but that's because I managed to get out a Clear Wing Synchro Dragon which fucked Trishula up BAD xD! Anyway, I've been doing a lot of play testing with them (they're pretty much already one of my favorite decks to use) and despite their crazy banish - special spamming, they aren't completely overwhelming. I also know this because I've played against them a couple of times before (one of the decks I used was Fire Kings) and the duels were pretty even, same with the win-loss ratio for both of us. Their trap card though... it's basically a Moralltach in trap form since it doesn't target, but this is their main form of monster removal in the case that their rather standard attack isn't enough. But yes. Ritual Beasts. Any other surprises I might not have heard of :p?

Uh... Lightning Chidori and E-Tele shot through the roof because of them topping. I dunno about you, but that's a pretty big indicator of something big with them even without me saying it. Then there's also the issue with power creep and all that. All the Secret Forces archetypes are pretty powerful in their own right. Yosenju bounce like there's no tomorrow, Ritual Beasts dodge effects like they're in the Matrix, and Nekroz... Well, they're Nekroz. Edit: OH MY GOD I COMPLETELY FORGOT ABOUT PLAYING SYLVANS.

What's this talk of a reboot I hear? Krein and I have been talking about Dread's intent to reboot for the last few days via Skype, and aside from offering my co-GMing abilities if wanted/needed in the reboot, I will be signing up again. I've seen my fair share of YGO RPs over the years, and know what to and not to be wary of in both YGO and RPing itself. Figured it's about time I made my intentions known to the thread, lol. So yeah, I'm game for a reboot when it happens. On that note, expect a PM shortly, Scarifar. There's something I gotta ask you in terms of characters and deck usage.
