@Anonymous - I think the biggest issue wasn't necessarily the character's personality- more likely the word choice."Samaritan" is not really a descriptive trait/personality trait. Samaritan is a type of person, not their personality. A better substitute would be "Moral", or "Considerate", or "helpful/caring". 

Likewise "Obscure" implies that your character is an oddball, strange, or mysterious- though what you described for "obscure" would be more along the lines of "Discreet" or "Guarded", maybe even "brooding".  

For "Meticulous" what you've described is just a form of OCD. OCD is something you have, not something you are. Maybe you mean instead "Indecisive"? or "Hesitant"?
