[@SillyGoy], Hmm, muskets and steam engines... I'm not sure what I think about that. Personally I was hoping for something less technological. But I'm not the only one that gets to decide. What do the rest of you guys think? And we can split the humans up between us. I think more than one player would like to have a go at them. But we need some guidelines. As I've written in the game thread, my hope was that humans could be somewhat primitive and "new" compared to the other races. They would be dependent on or fearful of their peers. But, again, that's my private vision, and I'm interested to hear your thoughts on the matter.
Really, I feel like that would greatly depend on the humans location and environment. After all, we vary a whole lot in real life too. ^^; With something like this, where there's so many people contributing and we have a lot of land to work with, it shouldn't be too hard to allow for a lot of different visions of humans.
Pretty much my view on the thing. I mean, as long as it's just one small human civilization, and it's still pretty lowtech and primitive firearms it should be okay. ...Speaking of humans, I've actually been thinking about a civilization that kind of goes the "fearful" route, since they kind of follow a highly xenophobic religion. But it's still a major work in progress so we'll see how that works out. XD Also, half-considering working on dwarfs if no-one else does. Might be fun to try and put a unique spin on my favourite of the generic four fantasy races, but I'm already working on orcs and goblins too so I guess if anyone else wants to work on them I'll hand the duties over to them. ...I am really into this whole thing for some reason. XD Haven't found writing this easy for a while, honestly, and I'm really enjoying working on this project.
