Vallyn followed Hotarubi to the guild, keeping himself within the thickest of shadows and moving swiftly with the lightest steps. He held himself back when he saw Hotarubi and Ziri conversing with one another, listening intently. Knowing full well they had nothing important to truly say to one another, both being as light-hearted as they were, he revealed himself by walking from the shadows and into the dim light of the guild. "A terrific display, Hotarubi," Vallyn spoke, his voice a deep baritone that sharply contrasted with his more feminine appearance. His tone seemed bored, if anything, and his eyes held their melancholic apathy, emphasizing his point. "A true thief would have been jealous of that raucous plan. Why, it would be better if we just hid under bridges and robbed every passerby of their last penny."
