Taiga had never really been one of the top guys in school. His looks weren't bad, but he just didn't stand out. He never really participated in sports, or even academic, clubs. He never went out of his way to let people know he was there. Many in his class were often surprised to find out he was even a student and member of the class. However, for a while now things had changed. He was trying harder. He actually worked out and started playing sports. He was getting better, though he always notably felt a bit weaker during the day. Night time was when his real energy came out. But he couldn't do anything at night. That was when he worked on his true cause. The work of a devil was never ending. That's right. The work of a devil. That's what he was now. It was amazing to think that not too long ago he was a normal human with no real highlights as far as he could tell. He was a gamer. Hell, he was almost a neet. But he at least went to school and helped around the house. Yeah, he could have been much worse. Still, now he was alone. Well, that was a bit of an exaggeration. Yes, his sister who's been like a mother to him was gone, but he was apart of a new family now. He remembered his sister every day of his life and he would likely never forget her. He couldn't pray for her because it hurt, but he liked to think his sisters was in a better place. Now he was going to his club. He said various goodbyes to different members of his class. Some commented on his changing and wondered how he could be so different. He couldn't very well explain so he simply laughed it off. Tomorrow he had part-time work after school down at a local family restaurant that had welcomes an extra server and than more club and devil activities after. Luckily King Amadeus had allowed this arrangement. He used the money for home expenses and the like after all. Perhaps he should get a roommate? No, that would likely not end too well. He had some things to consider in that aspect. He had to think about what would happen if they found out. What if he were attacked and they were caught in a crossfire? No, he was better off living alone. He'd been getting better at cooking anyway. And the house was fairly well maintained. It rarely had dust. Though the empty rooms were a bit depressing. "Oh well." He spoke to himself for a moment as he entered the clubhouse and walked down to the main room. "Good Afternoon President." He cheerfully spoke as he entered the room having pushed any depressing thoughts from his mind. Then he noticed Miria. "Oh Miria. It's good to see you too. Hopefully you had a good day." He smiled genuinely caring as she was another member of his new family.
