Wait...huh? I mean, my character is basically just skilled with two-handed weapons and one-handed blades, and he's an accomplished Blacksmith and Cooker due to spending so much time on the road. I basically explained this in the CS, so do I need to go back and change things?

the reason shes 15 because thats when the stormcloaks attacked her village, also in medieval times people had very short lifespans I can Tweak the sword a bit if you want

I don't really see anything wrong with Asuma either (surprised no one's thought of making an Akavir OC) but I am iffy on the subject of a wooden sword being able to cut through anything. Even if the blade was enchanted, I doubt it would have any effect on structural integrity and the blade would still snap like pocky. Plus I don't see what's wrong with a fifteen year old using a real sword, but that's just my two cents. Not meaning to dog your character, just find it bizarre to use a wooden weapon in battle, essentially a toy. But yeah, still a neat character ^.^ As for Skharn....errrr....in the words of Enthir: "Intriguing...but highly disturbing." O.o. Buuuuuut he can be Tarja's pet if you want \^o^/

There's nowt disturbing about an angry bear roaming the lands in search of the Dragonborn. In fact, how do we know Skharn isn't secretly the Chosen One, foretold by the Bear Kings of old in the times before bipedalism? Haha but no all sillyness aside, I was trying to be original. A bear on a mission seemed more interesting to me, than playing the usual suspects. If nothing else, it would have provided a unique perspective of things! I fully understand the abhorrence though; this is a TES RP, it wouldn't do to have a homicidal bear roaming around in the background and getting into a shenanigans. Still, can't blame an old bear for trying ;)

That was the source of my inspiration for him, yes.
XD No! No abhorrence at all! It's just uh...never expected it and had to do a double take. Definitely an interesting concept and animal companions are always needed. Truthfully I hope Saarebas does accept it. ^.^
I was hoping for Skharn to be independent, and that any consequential pairings with other characters was something to be established through the RP. However, if everyone would like Skharn to be friendly and snugly from the get go, then I'm sure I can re-write his bio. Maybe tie him in with Tarja or anyone else who wants a big flea bag following them around. If nothing else, he'd make for an awesome shopping cart when you can't carry any more of those damn dragon bones. We'll see what the GM has to say on matters.

I mean, it's worth addressing that this is a universe where prayer has, to a degree for the commoners, real and physical positive effects. Like, sufficient prayer at an altar for any of the Nine cures diseases, and even if that's because you're the hero and stuff will often work for you more than others (ie runestones in Oblivion) there is still the fact that magical healing and curing of disease exists, which outside of some isolated or backwards/Nordic communities is generally accessible. What I'm trying to get at is the lifespan is at worst closer to what it was like in the Roman Empire period and probably significantly better for the "human" races. Elves are a whole discussion.
