Saber - Restaurant District, Yggdrasil
"Nono is getting a seat..." it was all that Saber said before her eyes fixed on the menu. Yes... yes... there was such variety in cuisine just on the first page! The sheer volume of options available was beyond anything she could have hoped for... how had she not visited this place previously?! So much food that she could order... She had converted an 'allowance' from Rin into Yggdrasil marks upon her earlier arrival, and even part-time Agents received compensation for their time and effort. As such, she could certainly afford this restaurant. The prices were not exactly cheap, but it seemed that the restaurant was popular enough that there was no real requirement to charge prices that were through the roof.
Beyond the menus, to the left of the seats, there was a vast number of empty trays. The restaurant functioned rather uniquely. Food was made to order and held in stasis to keep them fresh, so that patrons of the restaurant could order anything they wanted. An 'agent discount' was proudly proclaimed beside a message that declared that the chef could quite literally prepare any food requested of them, though some dishes would take longer then others.
Saber also noticed a hasty note pinned beneath the holographic menu display, declaring '
Please do not order any meals involving the Gigaceros! The Chef is still recovering from last time! Please be kind to her!' Her mind did not dwell on this for long, as the thought was soon pushed out by a stream of dishes she could potentially order. Vaguely aware that others were present, she remembered to introduce herself. "... My class is Saber."
And with that, she took one of the holographic menus. Her mind settled on one of the old staples... to start with. A dish reminiscent of Shirou's cooking, it seemed. It would be an opener for her whole meal! Yes, so much delicious food...
A waiter approached Nono at the table. He was a young, brown-haired man in a black vest, white shirt, and black pants. "Er... You're with the other group? It's just that... I'm sorry, the blonde seems a little out of it, is she feeling well? She hasn't looked away from the menus since you got here."
He paused for a moment.
"... Er... please take a seat, though, and welcome to the Multiversal All-You-Can-Eat!"
Kirisame Marisa, Client World 12262009-A(Macross)
At Kakine's skeptical expression, Marisa simply gave a wide, cheerful grin. Hehehe, it wouldn't be trouble at all! She just had to make sure when she got into the city she could get out with aaaaall the loot that she'd accumulated! And wow she was getting pretty hungry. By the time she got in line and could order her food after Misaka, she just eagerly ordered the item with the largest portion that she saw and eagerly headed over to the table after Misaka. Marisa had to say she was kind of curious about how these two were travelling and stuff. It didn't look like they could knock holes in the fabric of reality or anything like that, though admittedly that was largely speculation on her part.
"So, you two are kinda like multiversal scouts or explorers or something?" she asked with a cheerful grin as she sat down. "You know, going out and looking around and stuff like that?"
Dlanor A. Knox - Outside the Passenger Area, UMMA Vessel Tanngrisnir
Dlanor gave a nod to the others. Indeed, it seemed as if there was no real clue as to what the two girls had been seeking that any of them could discern. All that they could do now is ensure that the passengers were unharmed. Striding towards the door to the civilian seating, the angel suddenly paused. There was a small doubt in her mind. What exactly have been the goal of this force? To take the
Tanngrisnir? If that had been the case, why didn't they aim for the ship's control center? Quietly turning to Patchouli, the small girl spoke her thoughts.
"Belladonna, Russ," she began, "Please ensure the passengers are SAFE. Knowledge, did you notice any activity in the secure cargo via the library's CONSOLE?"
No agents had been dispatched there. The civilians had required protection. If that had been a distraction...
UMMA Strike Team Section 4678934-Alpha, Siberia
"Breaching multiversal barrier in five..."
Her fingers clenched tightly on the Breaker Unit. It was a standard-issue device to teams with no ability to travel interdimensionally under their own power. The response here had to be quick. They were going to a rather... unpleasant location, with both SE forces invading and a potential viral outbreak. They had gathered information that the one in charge of the facility they were invading was planning to introduce a viral threat to neighboring universes. Naturally this was quite simply unacceptable. They'd been force to respond by the SE attack on the base. They couldn't wait for the nearest of the UMMA's heavy hitters, though backup from one of them was promised as soon as possible.
"Four..."
Any moment now. Her team was poised behind her. Her currently-prisitine white armor hummed, the assault shotgun in her hand was primed and ready for action. If there were zombies roaming about, they wouldn't know what hit them. SE forces... well, they were supposed to try and arrest them(the ultimate goal was to arrest the head of the entire operation at this location), but if they didn't surrender...
"Three... two... one."
The device clicked and there was a flash as the fabric of reality opened. Immediately she sprang inside, followed by her teammates. Reynolds, the massive hulk of a man with his flamethrower, had to duck through the opening.
They were greeted with a dimly-lit hallway. Well, at least there wasn't anyone lying in wait.
"... Alright, let's take this carefully," she said, glancing back at her team. She was a young women, clad in white plating with a helmet sporting a blue visor. Her eyes were blue, her skin light, and her hair blonde. "We have mutants, zombies, SE, and Neo-Umbrella forces to worry about, so there's no room for mistakes. If worse comes to worse, we buy time until our heavy-hitters can get here. Let's hope it doesn't come to that."
