Altzer Lantze [+]

Name: Altzer Lantze Age: 14 Sex: Male Sexuality: Heterosexual Appearance: Height: 4’ 6” Weight: 89 lb Personality: Altzer is the type that charges into things, but not necessarily straight into things. He is somewhat intelligent, but he lacks wisdom and sometimes ends up plotting the best course of action for the wrong thing entirely. He’ll usually start with a sprint before stopping to think about things which can lead to many misunderstandings. He also usually disregards his personal safety a lot of the time, his reasoning being ‘I can always heal.’ Which can land him in some tricky situations, but he knows that he can escape almost anything if he charges fast enough. History: When Altzer was young, he was still quite short compared to the other children. This wasn’t helped by the fact that he was always told he was too young to do this, too young to know that, and he developed a youth complex that compelled him to over-compensate for his perceived youth and lacking height. Thusly, he started studying and training as best as he could. Eventually, his complex faded and over-compensation simply became an aspect of his personality instead of a driving need. He eventually grew to like extremes instead of just trying to be extreme. When his magic awakened, he couldn't be anything but ecstatic. Likes: Going fast, big explosions, breaking big things, over-compensating, grand stuff Dislikes: Being short, slow things, boring things, not being able to do stuff Starting Faction: His parents consider him too young for anything, but he wants to join all of them for some reason or another. Coliseum because of big money and big fights, police and military because he has a little bit of a crush on the princesses. Magic Shade: Yellow Manifestation: Rocket Lance – Altzer can manifest an extremely large lance which measures about 10 feet in length. The lance is coloured yellow and has a sort of shield over one side of the handle. It is held with the shield facing outwards. The shield isn’t very strong, merely heat-resistant. At the base of the handle and on the outside of the shield, is a sizeable rocket booster which can be activated at will to boost his speed even further or even provide a limited boost to his jumps. Altzer can lift and thrust with the lance without any problems but its length is sometimes troublesome. The handle stretches past Altzer so the rocket boosters don't burn him. The boosters have enough power to make him fly to a certain extent, but it is extremely difficult to control and quite dangerous. The handle extends about 1-2 feet behind him and he can only make one lance at a time. His features are usually curved into a slight scowl, and his no nonsense demeanor rarely offers forward a smile. His body is toned with an obvious ode to frequent, careful training and an extremely disciplined lifestyle. He trained under his father and the bond between the two grew increasingly strong, Xander bloomed under his father’s tutelage and become capable of carrying on his legacy. The kindly words and loving actions was that of one who gave their world to their son, and the father was the world to his son. One day, with a shadow over his face, Xander’s father left in the night and failed to return in the morning. Xander waited, running to the double-doors of the mansion when the low beats of the knocker graced his ears, only to find a stranger had arrived to inform him and the household that Xander’s father would not be returning. Xander then tasted bitterness, overwhelming so. Since then he has been unable to recover, carefully carrying on his father’s legacy during day, and hunting for his father’s murderer at night. Shortly after his father’s death, Xander became associated with the military, quickly earning his recruitment with the name of his father; he left behind his home to take up his feudal practice. Xander consistently moved to improve himself: physically, mentally, in art, and in soul. From then to now, Xander has repeated the same process day-by-day: Cook breakfast and lunch, morning conditioning, military training / operations, cook dinner, evening combat practice, nap, then hunting for his father's murderer in the streets through the night, then, repeat. Name: Violet De La Fontaine Age: 18½ Sex: Female Sexuality: Heterosexual Height: 5’5" Weight: 108lbs Personality: Violet has grown bitter due to the life she had no say in. Now that her husband has passed from old age and the nightmare ended she is finally free to do what she wants. Violent hardly smiles but when she does it can warm even a broken warrior’s heart, piecing it back together again. The slender woman carries a cold and distant demeanor but when one breaks through that solid guard they will find no one more devoted or passionate. She is trustworthy, always following through with promises, and has her head on straight. She gives into her emotions a bit too often, however. When angry one will know, and when distraught, one will know. Sometimes she lets impulses take over and this leaves her venerable, in battle and out. History: One of the unfortunate to be birthed into a poor family but she knew love as her mother, father, and elder sister Amber cared deeply for her. Days were spent working but also in play and though they had little they wanted for nothing. Her father was one of the hardest workers she knew and her mother one of the most generous of women. When they were old enough to travel to town on their own, Amber and Violet began helping out with deliveries and shopping. They stumbled upon a parade in The Royal City one spring day. Admiring all the nobles and their grand attire Violet had unknowingly caught the attention of such a man. He sent one of his servants to follow the ten and thirteen year old's home so he could know of their location for future reference. A week later their cottage received a knock on the door followed by a dignified guest. He was accompanied by soldiers and asked to speak with the girl’s parents. Violent and Amber were sent to fetch fruit from the woods as they spoke but when they returned the man and his guards were departing. Their parents seemed unnerved and angry but would not reveal any information. A week later he returned only to be turned away once more. This went on for two weeks before Violet was out on an errand with Amber and cornered. With her sister suddenly nowhere to be found the man introduced himself as Comte De La Fontaine and handed her a note supposedly written by her parents. Inside revealed a harsh truth; she was sold to this aristocrat for debt they owed. She did not find out until years later that her family was slaughtered by this man because they did not want to give her up, and that the note had been written by a solider she had later grown to trust and love. With tears beginning to stream down her angelic face the ten year old left heartbroken and terrified. There was little she could do but go willingly since no one would protect her now, and she had no family any longer. Introduced to luxury it did not take the young girl long to become accustomed to a life of riches. Anything she wanted she received without objection but all the wealth in the land could not fill the void she constantly felt. They were officially wed on her sixtieth birthday, a notable celebration in Andria and also one of the lowest points in Violets life--aside from losing her family. Her husband, thrice her age had become an important figure in military thus needed to spend more time away from Violet, which she was thankful for. On his days away she fell in love with one of her personal guards who taught her how to fence. She took to the weapons and style with ease and a grace unmatched by many due to the magician blood flowing through her veins. Likes:

Height: 5 foot Weight: 140 pounds (mostly muscle) Personality: Jinn’s personality is one of curiosity. Due to his history, he likes to look around the world and learn about it. He has a hands-on kind of personality, as he likes to try things for himself. He is often reckless with his own body, taking wounds in order to exploit an opportunity, but this is more due to lack of common sense, having lived in society for only a short time. He is quick to adapt and is often ready to take on anything, and is usually unfazed by adversity. He enjoys fighting, though, and he gets along with animals pretty well. History: Jinn was abandoned by his parents in the mountains at a young age. He was found in the mountains when he was 6 years old. When the monks found him there, he was living with bears, having grappled them into submission. They took him in and taught him to live in society somewhat, as well as teaching him martial arts. This worked to a certain degree of success, but Jinn retained some of his wild tendencies, using their monk martial arts to improve his grappling abilities. He built up a lot of muscle so that could grapple easier. He also sharpened his ability to use yellow magic and trained in using it. Eventually, he left the monk place to explore the world and grapple something worth grappling.
