Annette Delauney The cab ride was pleasant, at first, and rapidly descended into gridlock as a bunch of people made their way to the exact same spot that she was going, which was a bit much even for the road network of this place. Go figure. Annette sighed as she relaxed, looking out the window in dull monotony. The sense of urgency on the part of her driver was overwhelming, not. At last she got fed up, and tapped her driver on the shoulder. "Excuse me," she asked with a pleasant smile, lowering her sunglasses so she could look him in the eye. "Do you plan on having kids? Because if you do, I would suggest you take a more aggressive driving stance before I render you unable to do so, alright?" That earned a gulp and scared nod from the driver, and Annette smiled all the more as she sat back. The threat brought results as they began moving at a much more rapid pace through the cars and along city streets, until they were at the C2 Building, Fortunately they were early, and she was able to join the people arriving. "Thank you," she said to the driver, handing him some cash as she left the cab. "Keep the change." With that, she moved along and entered the building at a refined walk. It was a nice place, all things considered, but it could have been better. In her opinion. For the moment though, she went to mingle, and to potentially find something worth her time in all this mess and stupidity.
