A time skip sounds good to me, but in the end it's up to Jangel to decide what happens. Maybe he has other things planned. 

Also, looking forward to learning how to communicate with the bijuu, could be a fun thing to describe. How the mindscape looks like for each person and how it was affected by the bijuu sharing that place :D.
