Minako stifles a cry of agony before there's a sudden change of pressure. Minako and Makoto are no longer being sucked into the center, and are left floating in the darkness where they are. The red glow instead starts to expand and envelop everything, like an exploding star.
"GYORRRRRUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!" Outside, the monster of darkness howls in horrible pain as the red light pierces through it's skin. It explodes in a red flash, dissipates, and leaves Makoto and Minako laying on the floor, with some black wisps still floating around them. Minako's vision is blurry, and she's about to pass out once more, but before she does, she notes a strange feeling within her body, and possibly even her soul. It feels almost like she's famished...
Abernathy wakes up, opening one eye just a bit to check the progress of the battle. He opens both eyes fully upon seeing Makoto and Minako lying on the floor where Yorugiro had once been, as well as the brown-haired ghost in the white dress sitting just a little ways away from them.
"Well, well...maybe you're more than you seem, you living ones....that is, if they're still alive." Abernathy frowns a bit at Minako and Makoto, then walks over to the ghost girl on the ground.
"Yolani, are you alright...?" Abernathy extends his claws to the girl. She looks up at him with soft hazel eyes and the faint start of a smile.
"Yes...for now, yes..." Yolani takes Abernathy's hand, and he helps her up to her feet.
"NYAAAAAAAAAWWWWH...!" Ellysa gives out a loud yawn and stretches as she wakes up. A satisfied grin makes it's way across her face. "Haven't slept that well in a year or so...well, actually, I haven't really slept at all. Ghosts don't sleep, usually..."
Myriatte finds it impossible not to notice how quickly Lucas picked up his cat and walked away from her.
"Oh...okay, bye then..." Myriatte finishes off her performance by feigning sadness at how fast he left her in the middle of their conversation. In her thoughts, however, a very different story is being told...
'Hmph. How rude...but, I suppose it was the cat's fault. She knows I'm not as I seem, and because of that, she has warned her little human-boy companion. No matter, no matter at all. I sense someone better in the basement...and I shall wait to see them. I so dearly want new followers...or more lambs...' Myriatte thinks to herself, a small giggle making it's way out loud as she stands near the stairs down to the basement, waiting for her chance...
