It happened pretty quickly yet it was a reaction Edo-Karn had anticipated, though despite seeing it coming, the slap still sort of cracked the blonde's neck a little, forcing the slender face to turn to the side. Emerald eyes blinking slowly, Edo-Karn's gaze looked at the angry Earthlander in the regular calm neutral they often had, before turning their head so they fully faced her. The short blonde let Sasha continue on her rant, not interrupting without their expression ever changing. Despite the stinging pain against their reddened cheek.

As Sasha finished, Edo-Karn took a few heartbeats before starting to laugh. Laugh quite a lot in fact, so much so they had to wrap their arms around their ribs to keep the pain at a dull roar from the utter hysterical laughter. After a moment, they calmed down before taking a breath and looking Sasha straight in the eye with a slight amused grin.

But our Lazarus, never was with us, or even tried to be until now and hasn't exactly given reason to change that view after this little stunt. We have to be cautious, not only for us but for all of Edolas. One wrong mistake could lead to everyone's head chopped off. Including Lazarus."[/color] they said thoughtfully before giving a actual genuine smile and ruffling the top of Sasha's head.
