Considering I forgot it existed, it's probably not going to be anything that completely changes what we're doing, since I've already laid out the upcoming mission. I'll have to figure out what's on it anyway. More so since it wasn't turned over until after the briefing. If you want to post, I'd go ahead and do it, might as well get a chance to say something in.

Nah, it's my fault for not re-reading things to make sure I hadn't missed anything. As it is, I've got a few ideas for it, and they can come out later anyway, since Blade only just got the drive, and someone (as in, someone else on the Claw who isn't one of us) will have to look at it anyway, so it'll be a while until we hear anything about it in game-time.

I was thinking the same thing. No one has even seen everything on it, much less make accurate conclusions of its contents. Naida only remembered it when the civilians were brought up....and I just realized that the disc she pulled from the computer in the crawler morphed into a drive...XD

I don't think you need to do a full one - just a basic outline will be fine. After all, I think we have enough characters at the moment as it is, we don't need another fully developed sheet at this stage. Fill in what details you think he/she needs, and that ought to be fine. And remember to post it in the characters tab and not in the main thread! The WIP can go in there too, since you can just edit it.

I'm still waiting for some people to post. While the majority of players have made one, there's been some noticeable silence. Also, how do people feel about the mission? I have a whole story that will flow out from it planned, but if no-one's interested in it, then there doesn't seem like much point in pressing on with it. Is that something that's putting people off of posting? Is there anything else people would like to see added, removed, or changed to make the game more interesting? One thing I am aware of is that the game is called GEARS and currently there's less focus on the titular robots - especially as two of the most active players aren't even GEAR pilots :P

I, for one, like the idea! The mission is so delicate it could potentially start a political shitstorm and end up in a large-scale conflict between the two main factions. Count me in. Well, the title says GEAR, yes, but it's not the robots that are the main focus here, it is the characters. If everything was all about engineering and combat prowess of said robots with very little substance and humanity, it would be a very empty story (I'm pointing fingers at YOU, Crysis!)

How dare you, Crysis was the eighth world wonder! It was so good it out arted all the other arts and became a physical presence! As for what's going on IC, I think it's neat, wouldn't mind seeing where it goes. I just feel as though Adrian wouldn't necessarily have much to contribute (other than fluff) that the others haven't already covered in this round.

I did mean to get an OOC post up tonight, but I ran out of time due to RL commitments, and then writing a mammoth post for another RP that took a little bit of researching to get right. However, I will get an OOC up for GEARs tomorrow evening.

its a new direction that previous iterations of GEARS hasn't tried yet, and sounds good to me. id like to see how it goes and what the non mech pilots would need to do to combat the new tech the enemy has. all in all, I feel like this is a good idea, however I don't know much about it and it would ruin it if I did. -_-'

I got an IC (not OOC! >.<;) post up, capping off the briefing. Hopefully I didn't miss anything else this time! Feel free to talk amongst yourselves IC, I'm sure you might actually want to say something. If not, you can all chase Silverwind into his office and bombard him with questions, or make small talk while he angsts over the burdens of command. It's a chance to actually get some IC character chat done - and if you don't want to, then I'll fast-forward to the funeral service, and the after-party, where there will be liberal alcohol and more chances to do things.
