Reading through the OOC, I seriously hope that this rp doesn't evolve into the Teen Titans cartoon, that show is such an insult to comic books and disrespects the series it is based off of. My only advise is to stick to the comics

You're part of a very small minority there, unfortunately. The general consensus amongst comics fans is that the show is a loving homage to everything that makes comics great: inventive, witty, and most importantly fun (something that a lot of comics seem to lack nowadays, much to their detriment). It also did things like make Terra sympathetic rather than the one-dimensional monster that she was in the comics, has the definitive version of Starfire (don't even get me started on what the New 52 did to her), and generally treated the source material with respect and reverence. Not going to say it's my favourite superhero cartoon (that would be the 90's X-Men show), but this is the first time I've ever seen someone with a negative opinion of it, let along one filled with such venom. ...Of course, I will admit I have an attraction to the weirder side of comics stuff, so the tone and general atmosphere of the show appealed to me greatly. I mean, my favourite DC comics include stuff like Sandman, Grant Morrison's runs on Animal Man and Doom Patrol, and 52. So naturally I'm a fan of a show that does what it did and doesn't take itself too seriously, and gives the audience the occasional wink. Really, comics trying to take themselves too seriously (and honestly failing at it) is probably partially to blame for the dwindling sales and readership they've been suffering from for years on end now. Basically, I don't agree with what you say at all, I am willing to defend my stance on this opinion, and it's not likely to budge anytime soon.

Nikolai's powers, especially the absorbing part, reminds me a lot of Jason's, but I think I can work with it.

I'm not asking to change your opinion, but I am voicing my dislike of the show and being in a minority doesn't change my views. I use to like the show, but once I actually looked into the stories the show was based off of I never looked back. Young Justice was the show I was looking for, more mature, still had a good amount of humor and could also be taken more seriously. Sorry but when Bart Allen showed up and all of the Flashes were together in one scene then that was insane nostalgia for me.

If he was punched or flash banged would that sever his mental connection? To be honest this whole possession thing seems OP, though I know you made it so it's only inanimate objects, it still seems pretty strong. Also, where would you find nothing to possess?
The premise I was going for is that Spook and Boo could not control things that were extraordinarily large, for example they'd be able to control things from toy robots up to a car, and that's if they controlled it together. Also, yes, anything that would throw a person off would probably relinquish his link to them, for however long he is disoriented.

I need to finish up my character. ^^; I have ideas for most of her, it's just getting them written down that's the issue. ... "Raised by ninjas" is sounding more and more appealing for her backstory given I don't have other ideas right now.

Accepted, although cutting yourself open is and using your own blood as a power is a little weird.
Hhmm, I'm getting a sort of static shock/Redhood combo. Ah, I'm willing to accept.
Is this still accepting? If so can I play a modified version of Deathstroke I have on hand?
"modified Deathstroke" I suppose you can send up the CS if you have it, though I am hesitant about it.

Name: Slade Joseph Wilson Alias: Deathstroke Age: 60+ (chronological) Personality: Deathstroke is a man who will do whatever he wants by whatever means he sees fit to use. unusually cruel to his enemies and harshly critical to his allies, it is sometimes hard to know which one you are. It take some time, and a lot of abuse, but if you stick around him long enough you can sometimes get past his shell to know what he really is. This will also grant you his trust and protection more than others. Generally cold, distant and apathetic towards others, morally corrupt and at times having no morals at all.
Weakness: Missing Eye: Deathstroke only has one eye, though he feels confident enough in himself to allow his opponents full knowledge of this weakness with his mask. Human: Even with all his abilities Deathstroke is still human and very much vulnerable to magic, energy, ballistic and weapon based attacks. he can also be out played where numbers are involved, but can usually hold his own when out numbered 3 to 1. Appearance: Bio: Slade enlisted in the army at 16 lying about his age, and fought in the Vietnam war some years later. After volunteering for an experimental drug that was hoped to make soldiers more resistant to truth serums, and was changed in ways more than just that. After waking from the coma the drug induced, he found that it increased his mental capacity, strength, agility, stamina and durability. He tried to be reassigned into the army but was denied. After being denied he decided to go into hunting instead and quickly became a famous safari hunter, but he was also leading a double life as a highly sought after assassin/mercenary. He was not only the best at this job, but also hunted by many people who wanted him dead or information on his clientele. After an incident with his ex-wife causing the loss of his eye he left and became just a hired gun, and has done this very successfully. Arc Ideas: Deathstroke is still working for the "bad guys", and with the recent disappearance of what seems the entire League, has been tasked with locating their various hideouts, making sure they are devoid of life then destroying them. This includes taking down anyone in the way. Other: N/A

Just a heads up, I have played this character in a number of RPs and have been able to play him without being overpowered. There were several instances that he came close to being killed, but because of the plot was able to escape.

Ah, I'm sorry. I thought by "modified" you meant your character would be heavily inspired by or derived from Deathstroke. While I do plan for him to appear in this rp, it won't be for awhile. I'm sorry but I have to deny this.

...Anyone else think that Slade Wilson looks kind of like Big Boss when he's not wearing the mask? XD Anyways, will get my post out something over the weekend. Been a bit busy lately I guess and not been able to focus on it. But hopefully will get something out soon-ish. ^^;

Whenever I think of Deathstroke I think of how Death Battle described his relationship with his wife. "Oh you're a bad ass, forget roses and romance, let's fight people, get married and plow" lol!!!

You are saying this like he isn't even the same person... I can tell you that this is almost the exact same character only I changed the personality and made his later bio vague enough to fit the roleplays I want to put him in. I read that you didn't want replicas and copies so I changed him up enough to make him the same character with a different persona. If you want me to play a more cannon version I can you just let me know which version you prefer: Teen Titans, Young Justice or Comic Deathstroke. EDIT: Sorry I miss understood your post, but I understand it now. If I were to change him (I have another floating somewhere.) would that be okay?

I want to be clear on this as well, what do you mean by "change him" this time around? I'm going to put up another small story post, this way things can move along slightly but Rin still has a chance to respond.
