Pirates, again that word. Whatever they were, Anise didn't like them. Pirates didn't exist in Anise's homeworld as sea travel was nothing more than a dream and the only ships that existed were rowboats used by fishermen in the lake of Riverforde. Darkness came back as Tyaelaem grabbed her hand and ran with her, again her one source of sight wasn't working. She had barely had time before they started running to drink some of the water that was given to her. She felt quite lucky to have not been hit by any arrows again. Were these the same Pirates as last time? She had hoped that she and Tyaelaem had lost them, but it seemed she was wrong. She knew not where she was going, but she felt she could be safe with Tyaelaem near. He was the only person she felt she could trust. The monkeybats were behind them as were the pirates, and she hoped that they would be too busy dealing with each other to chase her and Tyaelaem. She then saw the light of Kituo's lantern and saw an old man reaching out towards him. Kituo cried out for help and Anise found herself pulling away from Tyaelaem to go help. She rushed up to stand by his side and glared up the old man. "Leave him alone." She had her commanding voice on, something she had a lot of practice with being a princess.
