The GM slaps these two silly for letting in random thoughts of depression.  The GM is the ruler here and will not allow such thoughts to persist.  "For Shame" thought the GM, "such negativity could impact my story.  My roleplayers must always be awesome above all else."  Soon after the GM thought, "Why am I writing as if I'm the narrator from the Stanley Parable?"  For the GM realized that the GM had just been playing the Stanley Parable for far too long and it was affecting the GMs writing.  Fight it GM and reclaim yourself from that story!
