Power(s): The ability to contort his body into weaponry and the like. Some examples would be like elongating his fingers and nails to make his hands into claws, changing his teeth to razor sharp needles, adding spikes and blades to his arms by manipulation his bones, or even fusing the skin between his arms and sides to make flaps for gliding. The process is mostly painless if given a brief moment to concentrate on it but if in a jam he can force the change despite the pain. He can, of course simply use his powers to change his appearance. He can even make his hair grow and retract, all he can't do is change the colour of it or of his eyes. Also his bones are far harder and denser then the average bone to stop them from shattering with the stunts he does with them.

Personality: Highly energetic. Often times happy. He has difficulty calming down but he can throw his energy into his attacks with all he's got. Generally nice but not caring in what others feel of him unless they are close. Often puts the well being of others over his own.

History: Aksel led a fairly normal life as a child. He didn't have too many friends but he had a few good ones so he was happy. His dad had left while Aksel was fairly young but it didn’t faze him too much, he was never there too much for him anyways. 

He first discovered his powers in middle school at around age 12. He has no idea how it really happened but his arm started to deform and a large spike pierced his skin and appeared on his arm. It was painful and terrifying so he closed his eyes and and the fear of it subconsciously returned his arm to its normal state. He didn’t try to investigate it for a while before curiosity final bested him and he concentrated on making it happen again. It took him a while but eventually he was able to replicate the results and less painfully. He kept practicing and toying around until he realized he could change his body in many different ways and the more he practiced the less painful he could make it. 
After a few years of playing around with it he found he had made it to a fairly decent level of skill but he was never able to really put it to the test against anything but trees in the woods.

 Somewhere along the line his mom became diagnosed with cancer but it was already at a late stage. There was little that could be done to help her, she was bed ridden with a month or two to live. One day after a visit to his mother he was walking home when he became the victim of a mugging. Already not in the best of moods he did not hesitate to test out his skills. He took a moment to change his hand into a claw and slashed at his assaulter’s stomach. Of course the crook was not expecting this of all things and it hit, leaving him with a bleeding gash in his stomach. Aksel quickly returned his hand to normal size but it seemed that he had caught the attention of a young adult who he found was named Sven. They shared the fact that they both had these superhuman abilities. After a brief wait in town for his mother to pass on, Aksel began tagging along with Sven. He had seen in the news how the government was tracking down people like them but with his mother he couldn’t just leave, but going with Sven seemed to be logical for safety and maybe a little fun. After a while they became unlikely friends and continued their travels together on the run.
