Once again, I have somehow insulted you. And yet, once again, I meant no insult. There is no tongue-in-cheek, there is no passive aggressive subtext. I am being completely and utterly straight with you, and have never done anything but. I am being as tactful as I can be while addressing the points you have raised. I'm not attempting to exert control over anyone else. I had avoided mentioning this before, but you incessantly speak as though I have been arguing against anyone besides you, which is incorrect. This is purely between us, there are no others involved besides potentially the GM as arbiter and judge over the situation. However, I would state that I am backseat-GMing. This is because I have, in fact, GMed this, and have been running with this setting since it first started some 4 threads ago. This is not an excuse, this is an explanation. If you will, I shall cease acting as such, and attempt to remain more of a player. I do not believe you have any ill intention, as I specifically mentioned in my previous post. I believe you're attempting to create a rich and awesome story, and I'm fully confident that you're sufficiently skilled to create great stories. However, I've also seen that your character practically removes the reason for any other vampire character's existence through his sheer power. I also know that half the roleplays I'm in die because someone decides to play the Unbeatable Death God. Now, when you address metagaming, you have a fair point. In truth, I missuse the term, as I was referring to 'Metagamer' as the term is used in the D&D Dungeon Master's Guide, to refer to a player who loves influencing the flow of the story by maximizing the power and influence of their character. I used this unwittingly, creating this confusion and quite probably doing me no favors within your opinion of me with this seeming insult. It was not intended as such, and I hope that you understand what I was attempting to say. I apologize for the apparent insult. Actually, his weakness is drones. I quite specifically mentioned them. Remote controlled killing machines already employed in the army, capable of destruction on a large scale and unhindered by Gabriel's psionic capabilities. They're a weakness that's easily accessed if one knows how to use them, and completely ignores all of Gabriel's powers. I don't know if you simply overlooked them, as you only mention deviations and mental blocks, but they're the big one. I retain the right to alter the actions of my characters. Kami-no-kage is my character, and as such I am free to act upon him in whatever way I wish to. Your point is moot, as you yourself state. Read the text above. So you have Brittain. Okay. If you wish to make a request, I would debate you on the validity of such. If you convince me that you are correct or if the GM states so then I shall make any alterations as required. How would you stop a Purge infiltrator, when they're not carrying any weapons or indications of them being Purge? There is no way of knowing, without performing torturous interrogation at all airports. You seem to forget that Brittain is a country, and infiltrating a country unarmed is a matter of buying a flight ticket. It's not like they're planting bombs, at which point they would have been stopped quite rapidly. It's just dudes who occasionally send an Email to their bosses. Also, a vampire infiltrating the Purge would be laughable, as they'd need to wear a hazmat suit to ensure they didn't burn to death from all the holy water, incense and dead man's blood in the air. Furthermore, all Crusaders are outfitted with infrared visors. Someone lacking body heat is going to get noticed. If you want a vampire's thrall to infiltrate, however, that's far more plausible. I would prefer it if you discussed it with me first, however. Why France? Also, I believe transporting the entire cast to France might form a problem, especially as Magnus seems to be planning a second attack on US soil.

*le sigh* This kind of thing is one of the reasons I left this RP in the first place... I think I'm just going to ignore the OOC unless someone pings me for an important notification that I need to read. In other, more pleasant, news: my bestie drew an awesome picture of Lady Mohowauuck. Check out my CS and praise her wonderful artistic skills! :D

ok ok ok... I see you guys are both mildly miffed and I want to settle things. I think Bedivere and Gabriel are fine. yes, neutrality isn't a technical weakness, and yes, Bedivere is neigh unkillable in his dark water, but it's not actually a problem. In fact, I don't think anyone in this rp has a problem with either of them and their powers, at least not at this time. But if a character needs to get nerfed, that's Shikaru's and my job. We'll do it. Don't worry. Camelot isn't nuke-proof, however it is hidden and protected by being under ground. It may also have some non-disclosed life-saving bonuses against nuking due to Merlin, but meh, whatever. Also, even if Stone had a nuke ready to go off somewhere, he has to know that his bluff is SO BIG that it's obviously going to get called. It was a pretty ridiculous bluff, in fact, he should probably play it off as a joke to keep himself from looking retarded. If anyone wants to threaten Camelot, I first expect you to give good reason why you'd know where it is. You can threaten to nuke some random location in the UK if you want, but what good does that do? And seriously, nobody ever, ever, ever use the word "metagame" ever again... ever. Nobody ever knows what it actually means, and I don't want to hear any bullshit explanations of it. You can live without it completely and be very clear about your meaning without sounding like a pretentious 12 year old asshole. Now, are there any serious problems left I have not addressed?

@Wraithblade6 Eh, I'm half-expecting Mathew to die anyways, at which point I'll just make me a CS for Lucy, and initiate operation Wipeout (which is a real thing, and not a bluff). Also, you do realize that modern nuclear weaponry could annihilate pretty much 80% of Brittain, right? And the radioactive fallout would kill anyone in the remaining 20%. That gives any nuclear attack a fairly good chance of destroying wherever Camelot is, or at least anything even remotely close to it. In any case, the point is moot. Oh and Grey, you have complete permission to kill off Mathew if you think that's the logical thing to do.

Ok first of all, @thewizardguy@The Grey Dust. I have to admit I thoroughly enjoyed reading this exiting 'keyboard' war. I know I shouldn't get more involved as it would only reignite it, but just a few little things I couldn't leave unmentioned: - I believe that Bedevere was just going to let him leave, and the whole nuclear threat was pointless. But if it's something Mathew would think is necessary I approve of this anyways. Martin would have just left politely. - vampires have increased senses, in pretty much every vampire setting I've ever come across. If anything they can hear a human's heartbeat. It's not far fetched to claim even a fledgling capable of playing lie detector. In fact I assumed that was the only reason the nameless vampire henchman was even there in that scene. - I can think of plenty ways to kill both of you, with Martin even, and he's just a human with a bit of intel - I love how we're discussing the nuke-proofness of Camelot, but not the indestructibility of Excalibur or the existence of teleportation. (note: I am perfectly ok with it, It's just funny to me) - It doesn't matter if Camelot is nuke-proof, it matters if Bedevere believes it is.
Right, probably should have said this a lot sooner, quite frankly I forgot. SOLDIER HQ Isn't in Kilo Point, as stated, it's elsewhere. Out of a list of random locations, I think I'll choose Nashville. Now, even if it IS an outpost, it's one of the main ones in the country, It does have it's own mini-HQ of sorts, which is what Martin could be at so as to not completely kill the entire post(s). On a un-related note to Martin: lmfao at the post with Hale. I honestly laughed hard about the rednecks, and how true it was to a LOT of people in my town and towns around it.
I'll go edit it to make sense in all my post then. Also thank you, I thought a bunch of assholes could always liven up the party. Now to find someone who is willing to turn the whole batch huh? That or they're gonna get ate.

This does indeed look very cool. My compliments to your bestie, now here's to hoping Hale makes it out of this unscathed. Was implying he hs seen her nekid juvenile? I think it's funny. Hmmmm One more thing: Does Kilo Point even have an Airport? Or is Void on his way to Houston?

"What do you mean I can't take my sword on to the plane?" Void groaned. "U-um because it's dangerous." the woman replied. Void sighed and relinquished his weapon, "Keep it safe for me won't ya?" he asked with a wink. The woman took the blade carefully and deposited it into a box behind the desk. "Your flight is ready sir" she said pointing at the entrance to the plane.
Normally this would be a very weird scene, knowing what modern day airports are like. But this is great Britain. And this lady's reaction is the most British thing ever. Also, I think It would be slightly more fitting if Void suddenly got up to sit next to his shadower, surprising her. Because I don't think she would sit next to him. But those are details.
