Here we go. I wasn't too sure about the relation to friends section. I figured we could discuss that part and edit it as more people came along Name: Lucas Adler Age: 27 Appearance:

Job: Grant writer Relation to friends: Old friend of Jason Bio: We weren't poor, but we had to make do with less than a lot of my friends. My dad was a good, hard-working guy, and my mom did her best to take care of us five children. We were a rowdy bunch and we really tried her patience. They raised us well, though. My dad firmly believed that the world is anyone's for the taking. You just need the know-how and the sheer effort. Around the time I was 12, my mom's sister and her daughter moved in with us, escaping an abusive home. So, my dad was supporting a few more people. It was no big deal, but we did start to feel the strain. A few more hand-me-downs here and there, our meals were a little more basic. We were okay though. I got along well growing up. My grades were good despite the trouble I managed to find every now and then. Nothing serious, just usual rebellious teen type stuff. Really the biggest distraction to my studies were the girls. I broke more than my fair share of hearts and made a few enemies, but it wasn't something I could really help. I also spent a lot of my time at school writing. I loved to write. It just thrilled me to be able to express thoughts for others to read. I graduated and went to a pretty good college. Nothing really amazing, but an exceptional English department. It was the perfect major for me, interesting and leaving me with enough time to really take part in extracurricular activities. I then went back home and got a job in grant writing. It's a decent job that keeps me alive. Eventually, I got a call from an old friend asking if I wanted to move to Miami. I couldn't get here fast enough. Personality: Lucas is a confident guy. He's worked to give himself a satisfying life and feels he can accomplish anything. He's rather charming, and people generally like him even if he is a bit cocky. He tends to get around and has set a few against him that way but he's on good terms with just about everyone. He has a simple sense of humor and loves to laugh, even at the most stupid of jokes. Relationship?: Now where's the fun in holding yourself down Other: Decided to never drink out of empathy for his aunt and cousin's abuse at the hand of an alcoholic. He doesn't care other people do though. He just chooses not to. He loves sports and dancing. Working on a book.
