There was darkness for the first few seconds. Then as Talan opened his eyes he was reminded of where he was however as to how he got here was a mystery. He tried hard to remember what happened before he awoke but all he could recollect were feelings of pain and fragmented visions of a struggle. [i]"This nightmare won't end it seems.."[/i],he thought as he laid on the ground staring up into the massive trees. 

To his surprise when he tried to get up he found that he had been bound hands and feet. He struggled hard to break free of the bindings but to no avail. Swiveling his head around he trulied to get a look at his surroundings and found a woman sitting near him, watching him. If this was the one responsible for his capture Talan was quite embarrassed as to the fact he allowed her to get the better of him. His embarrassment was short lived however as it turned towards anger and frustration. He struggled once more to break free of his binds all the while cursing in his native toung through the gag. He pulled against the rope with all his strenght and could feel it loosening ever so slightly but not enough for him to get his hands free. He wiggled over to the girl and once he was close enough began headbutting her leg to signal her to remove his gag. He was acting on instinct now, his inability to get free made him desperate enough to plead with his captors. He hit his head against her over and over until he grew tired and ceased. [i]"If I wasn't bound.."[/i], he reveled in the thought of what he'd do if things were different. No doubt he'd teach these people a lesson for putting him through this. For now he'd wait and see what would happen, but not without a back-up plan should things not go his way. He turned his head away from the woman and looked for something to cut the rope. All he could find were a few twigs small enough to be concealed should he lay on his back. He tried as best he could to inconspicuously pick up the twig and while on his back began to whittle away at the rope. This would take time, time Talan did not necessarily have. For now he could only hope that they wouldn't do anything with him until he was ready.
