Personality Assessment:
Considered a case of... How best to put this, loyalty to those who earned it and disregard of personal safety. His honour also getting in the way of full blown progression. He refuses to kill an unaware opponent and prefers a fair fight compared to a quick one and has deep respect for women. And this "loyalty" stacking on top of it, him sacrificing himself (but never another or forcing them to even help him) to save someone else. These ties putting him as a risk, but nevertheless will get the mission done even if it kills him.
His eidetic memory puts him though as an exceptional help to the team
