I discovered this place by chance, really. The old community I was in for role-playing was festooned with a lot of arrogant role-players and I found it a hassle to find someone decent to role-play with without getting the shots called.

Shots called, you say? Yes. Accusations on "god-modding" or the likes.

The community I was in was not a good community. From the very beginning of when I discovered it many years ago till now when I've grown weary.

I hope I'll find some enjoyable people to spend time with on here. I am looking forward to role-playing and finding the joy I had in it once again.

Like the above, I hope you find this community to be a better one. I too came from a community that I've been apart of for years and overtime it simply wasn't for me anymore due to various reasons. I haven't been here long, but I am certainly enjoying myself thus far. Everyone here seems to be great people and so for I've yet to see any negativity of the sort. I am sure you'll have fun here and enjoy yourself.

Mind if I ask what sort of roleplayer are you? Specifically where do you fit within: Free, Casual, or Advanced.

Casual and Advanced. And I'm sorry the community didn't fit to what you wanted. It's a shame really. The community I came from wasn't very open to ideas and strongly revolved around Combative Role-play.

That's a shame, really. I left my old community due to too much immaturity. It didn't have the Free, Casual, or Advanced options like this one and so posts would be a cluster fuck (excuse my French and lack for a better word) of one-liners to multi-paragraphs. Strangely, most of the members were fine with that, but not I.

There were simply too much one-liners and when it came to those who produced a paragraph, they go overboard with it. And those who type paragraph posts become criticized and labeled as a "try-hard." And no biggie, feel free to curse till your heart is content. I completely understand.

@Constantina Random quick question: What sort of roleplaying genres do you prefer to participate in?
