1. If he's from Zone 1, wings are a no-go. He could pull off a demon kind of thing in Zone 2 though, with some fire breath. It's not as strong, but it can still get a job done.

2. What Urban said. If he wants his journal he can either ask Eli to get it for him or just grab some office paper. Selling it to the media is gonna be hard though, him being stuck in an isolated facility and such. But a boy can dream.
