Alright, I'll be taking a look at the videos tomorrow and post the cs as well, because it's already midnight over here.

Alright, I've got all the ensigns up (Israfil, Solomon, and Tera). Claire and Blythe will be starting out with the rank of ensign (also, come up with a last name for them). There is still a Lieutenant Junior Grade and a Lieutenant for the Cog Team that I need to put up, as well as the captain of the ship, for starters. However, I will try to get an opening post up in the IC soon and introduce the higher ranking officers as they come.

Posted the first IC post! Also added some locations to the first OC post. As a reminder, a 'concert' is the term I will be using for a fleet of spaceships. Some of the locations have background music. For the time being, introduce your characters (you can do flashbacks if you want), and get the twins to Gate B5 of the spaceport. Let me know if you want them to have arrived early, on-time, or late like poor Israfil. Or if you prefer they take a different shuttle, that's fine too.

Alright, I'll get started on my post right away. Also I'm thinking of a third character, but is it good to you if he has no cog? Because I wasn't really thinking of a job on the battlefield for him, but rather as a mechanic outside battles, to repair more serious damage done to the cogs that Asteria can't take care of. Also, could he have a mechanic prothesis?

Yes, a character like that would be good. At least for now, Asteria's repair is good only for surface-level damage. The hangar has a team of technicians who are responsible not only for repair, but for general maintenance, calibration and fine-tuning. And mechanical prosthetics are absolutely allowed.

Alright, I just posted his CS. I'll introduce him in my next post and he'll of course be late, so I was thinking that he and Israfil could be in the same train?

Sure thing, Mike can be on the same train/elevator as Israfil. So in case I didn't make it clear, the train is actually an elevator that takes passengers from the planet surface up to the spaceport which is like a space-station, but it is tethered to the planet by the space elevator. The spaceport is like an airport, where people board shuttles that take them to other orbital, untethered space stations, or to fleets in orbit. As for ranks, I am using the following link. Changes I am making are that for combatants and command posts, we will go from Ensign to Fleet Admiral, whereas for non-combatants like Mike, we will go from Seaman to Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy. If Mike's just starting out, make him a Seaman, if he has some experience under his belt, you can make him a Petty Officer 3rd Class (PO3).

Mike will be a seaman, all he's done so far is fooling around with things on his own.

OK, so I had originally planned for the shuttle leaving gate B5 to be only for the cog pilots, so I'm going to say that Mike's flight was moved to B5 as well(because he missed his original flight, which was for general staff, the day before or something). I hope that's ok with you. I'm also going to have Tera arrive at the gate before Israfil and Mike get there, since they're late and Tera will arrive at the gate on time.

Being an entire day too late.... he probably broke the record XD But yeah sure, that's good to me.

So at this point, none of the ensigns have seen their cogs yet. They will see them when they arrive on the Incubator and visit the hangar. As for Asteria's healing ability, I was thinking that it was a nozzle attached to a hose attached to a tank. The tank is filled with nanomachines. Asteria has to be close to the patient cog in order to heal it. The Asteria has a portion of the Stern Algorithm in itself, which is how it can make the nanomachines repair cogs. This also gives the Asteria the ability to become sentient in the future. I'll leave it up to you to slowly build up the plot of Asteria (and Nyx) becoming sentient.

Sure, that sounds good. I'm not sure yet how to get the two cogs sentient, I have to say that I had a pretty bad week and had some things occupying my thoughts

If you're open to talk about it, I'm here to listen, but if you'd rather keep it private, I'm not going to pry.

The thing is that after half a year of being unemployed after finishing school, I got to work at a bookstore for the last six months and really enjoyed it. Last week I had a talk with my boss, and was told that I'm fired. According to them, it's because I can't be left alone in the shop, which is kind of true and inconvenient for them, but it also just happens to be the case that they found someone cheaper than I am...

Man, that stinks. Companies are so unwilling to train new employees nowadays. While schools continue to say that you'll learn important skills "on-the-job", companies expect people to come out of schools already trained. There's this stupid gap that no one's willing to fill, and it becomes an unreasonable expectation on us, the prospective employee.

Well I'm not going to give you any job advice unless you want me to, since I'm sure everyone else you've talked to have probably said more or less the same things. If you need to vent some more, feel free to do so. Use this as an avenue for escape and release.

So since Solomon's actual Ascended ability is mind-control, and Blythe has pissed him off, I wanted to ask if you would be ok with Solomon attempting to make Blythe prostrate to him. If you are not OK, I'll make Solomon retaliate some other way, or for something to interrupt before he actually does it. Or if you have a good reason to say that Blythe can somehow resist Solomon's mind-control then that works too. Anyways, I'm not going to control your character without your permission.

You mean like making her trip or something, or more like kneeling for him or something like that? Both would be fine to me, as long as it's not like he's not making her do some serious/major thing

Yeah, like kneeling. OK, thank you for your permission. Solomon's mind control is actually more like body control, he controls people's bodies against their wills, and they are completely aware of what's happening to them, so he can't make people like him or change their opinions.

Alright, though he'll probably get punched in the face for making her do so, unless Rheese stops the two of them in time.
