Olivia seemed chirpy that morning which could mean two things - she was either still feeling the effects of the complimentary bottle of wine that had been left in her room the night before r she had just received a job that would allow her to get out and about. In this case, it was in fact both. Once she had dressed and left her room, she decided to pay a small visit to Cedric - she had a job to do which was making sure that Cedric didn't do anything stupid. If he was stressed out with his work-load then he would make stupid mistakes. Knocking his door, she waited a few seconds before entering. She was up early so he was caught out making breakfast for himself. "Mr Wessex." Olivia nodded in greeting before walking closer, her heels clicking on the hardwood floors. "I know you probably won't like this idea but how about you let me run this place for a day or two? You're stressed and you have a lot on your plate. Take a rest and think over some of your decisions - like the adoption plan. Trust me, the Heroes have the utmost faith in me to lead and you'll only be gone for a day or two." By this point, she was leaning against the cupboard bedside him, staring at him with those large, innocent eyes. She was impossible to decline. First stop; the lobby! Olivia met Albert on the way out and he accompanied her down to the expansive area. Olivia did a quick check over the staff but took note of an incident occurring between a white-haired woman and a younger male. "Keep an eye on them, please. Call me if things become violent." She murmured to one of the young receptionists before getting on her way again. "Miss, there's a large package and crew addressed to Mr Wessex. Would you like to handle it?" Another receptionist queried before Olivia nodded, giving him an encouraging smile that he couldn't help but return. Next stop; the delivery bay! Albert wasn't very approving of her getting down amongst the men working to unload various packages from trucks but she didn't mind. Moving through the crowded area, Olivia finally reached a bay which was closely guarded by men who were definitely not Reformists. "This package is for Cedric Wessex. Not you, whoever you are." Sneered a rather snooty looking lab-coat-wearing man. "I'm glad you noticed! Was it the breasts that gave it away?" Olivia questioned, her tone serious yet mocking as the man blushed and crossed his arms. "My name is Olivia Octavia Delacroix and I will be taking your package. Mr Wessex is busy so I'll be filling in. You can contact him, if you wish, but the end result will be the same." Finally, the man decided to hand over the package which required a powerful looking crate-lifter to move. Once the truck had left it's cargo which had been shipped to R&D, Olivia headed up to the labs to inspect what it was, exactly. The engineers present were very careful to lift the weird collection of machinery that oddly resembled a human. Once everything was assembled correctly, Olivia realised that it must have been some advanced android. "I swear... they make these things with the best intentions and then some technopath goes and hacks them." Olivia herself chose to use a notepad over a tablet - in the modern world, devices weren't extremely safe to use. Learning about the machine just seemed to shock her further. "They put a human conscience into that!? What is the world coming to? The poor thing probably can't feel anything that he used to feel..." She felt a weird pity for the robot so decided to get something done about it. "Please have Mr Wessex come and look over him before going ahead with any further plans." Finally, she took a visit to the war room which required a full retina scan to enter. It featured a massive holographic table with the location of every Reformist meta in LA which could be expanded out to the entire country as well. "Who is that?" Olivia questioned one of the operators after a second, pointing to a dot that was ducking and gliding far above the city on the holographic layout. "That would be... Spectrum, Miss." The operator finally revealed, their eyes not leaving the profile that came up when the buzzing dot was pressed. "Excellent!" Olivia chirped, smiling brightly. "Tell them that I have a very special job for them. I want them to find Elijah Craigh and take him in so I can speak to him. Please inform Spectrum that I have no intentions to arrest Mr Craigh so try not to take him forcibly. Could you also remind him to point out my looks to Mr Craigh if he's hesitant."
A short time later
"Albert darling, I assure you, I'll be quite fine! They're not raging animals, you know! They actually have a very deep respect for the sanctity of metahumans so if I head into there with only peace on my mind then no harm shall befall me!" Smiling brightly, she leaned over and gave her butler a gentle peck on the cheek. "Your concern is appreciated, Albert, but I'm a woman grown - I can do this." Olivia was basically impossible to argue with whenever she had Pyxis activated so eventually, the old butler allowed her to climb from the unmarked SUV. The New Sun building was only across the road and her inevitable target. Olivia knew that Cedric would grow concerned and have her monitored if she told him that she was going so she elected to not tell anyone and just take Albert along for the ride. Her rather noticeable choice of colourful clothing was covered by a long coat so only her tights and her boots were visible. All in all, she just looked like any other initiate eager to get into the Underground Movement. "I'll be out in two hours, Albert. If I'm not then assume that I've done really well. Got it?" She murmured in the window before standing back as the car pulled off. Olivia was by herself now but she couldn't help but feel the rush of adrenaline - this was going to be interesting. Getting inside wasn't a problem. Finding the place were all the initiates gathered was. Finally, she found another wandering person and followed them down into lower sections of the building which led into a large chamber. There were all mannerisms of fantastical creatures down in the open room - ranging from elves to demons. Then there was Isabella Lancaster herself, sitting high above the rest atop her throne. Olivia had her hood up and although she had some resistance to telepathy, the weird creatures would eventually learn her true intentions. She decided to stay in the shadows and listen to Isabella for a moment or two - she needed to learn her intentions.
