It's possible. Like I said he's kind of a casual... Arceist? So he'll just nr thinking these radicals need to chill out. But at the same time anyone who's trying to worship anything other than Arceus is obviously wrong in his eyes. In the same way that you'd react to someone saying the sky is green and the sun rises in the west. Which is funny cause this is a world where their gods can literally duke it out. Wonder where atheists would fit into all of this. Just go around claiming that Arceus and Rayquaza are just Pokemon. They didn't create anything. Actually in that sense they may tolerate worship of Rayquaza since it's a sort of protector and not a "God". But now I'm rambling and since I'm on my phone I can't go back and check again on what you said about Rayquaza in the OP so I'll put off thinking about it for now.

@Prints Avoid Well, duh, of course they're just pokemon. Do you think a god would let themselves get caught? If I was strong enough, I could even use a pokeball to do it, and not even have to use a decent ball. And don't even get me started on the fact that it could be killed by even a Ratatta.

Well, that was a quite rude way to just shut down all my speculation. I know that in the games they're just Pokemon. I'm just talking about the universe Zenn came up with for this RP. Legendaries are god-like and impossible to catch. I don't think a Rattata could take down a Pokemon with the power it takes to create the universe.

In this version, with them being impossible to catch insanely powerful, maybe people would consider them gods, but not creators. They haven't proven they have anywhere near the power needed to create a world or life. Anyone who was an actual atheist would probably just consider them to be insanely powerful pokemon, though.

@Prints Avoid Religious debate brewing lol Basically, Arceus is the only big bad legendary Pokemon confirmed to exist having shown itself. Ho-oh and Lugia have been seen but only sparingly. Groudon Kyogre and Rayquaza haven't been seen in ages, worshiping them is like worshiping Greek gods today Any atheist who doesn't accept Arceus as a creator god would see it more as just a titan, hyper strong and intelligent pokemon, or what ever their personal preference was.

Just in case you guys wanted to start getting involved in some plot stuff in your next posts "Arceist" should be popping up everywhere like Jehovahs Witnessess. For literary cohesion I'd like them to show up first pushing their religion before getting violent later on. They wear white robes and want others to give up their barbaric customs and accept Arceus as lord I'll write some information on the actual groups an their agendas later today

Arceist: The radical group that believes Arceus proclamation that it wished not to be worshiped was a test and have chosen to bring Arceus glory all around the world. Based out of the cathedral Hearthome city in Sinnoh. While only a percentage of believers are so radical as to preform demonstrations most would agree with them. Main goal is to unite the world under one religion of the true creator and end all strife. Rayquaza cult: Came into being as a reaction to Arceus existence, fearing the fact that a creator could easily destroy everything they wish to awaken Rayquaza along with Groudon and Kyogre to defeat Arceus. Very few numbers at the moment but they are quickly gaining power in Hoenn Main goal to kill a god Another group of people who respect and fear the power of the legendaries aim to save humans by creating their own super powerful pokemon to fight the gods.

Hahaha nah, I just thought it might a an amusing little detail to throw in, show how he wants nothing more than to get back into town at this point. I'm just having fun with this spoiled rich boy who... romanticized? being out in nature with the Pokemon and is now having to deal with the realities. He's determined to get used to it though.

Hmm I guess we're not gonna have a character from Floaroma. I stopped there to give em a chance to travel together. I'll post about Rowan tomorrow if I have a chance as I doubt I will be able to post over the weekend.

Okay so I was thinking up a reason for Rowan to send Amos to Unova. He specializes in evolution, and he's kind of a busy guy. Since he moves around a lot, possibly going to Kanto again, he could send Amos on a long trip so that he doesn't have to find him everytime he's done something. So go research these bug type Pokemon in Unova he heard about. Apparently they only evolve through interaction/trading with each other. Find both and make observations before and after evolution. And you know, observe Pokemon and work on your research skills all along the way, so you're of more use to me when you return. So there we go, let's see how much he accomplishes before he gets completely sidetracked by cultists.
