He is rather arrogant, but believes he has reason to be. He generally doesn't associate himself with others unless their existance is beneficial to him or they have done something to gain his friendship or respect. History: Zax was born in the Goblin homeland, the Undergrowth. The Undergrowth is an expansive and industrious mining located underneath the Sentinel Mountain Ranges. Zax's father had died before he was born as a result of a hunt from a few Wood Elves who thought it would be funny to shoot down a defenseless Goblin one day. As a result, the main father figure in Zax's life was his grandfather, a Venerable old man named, Steb who taught Zax just about everything he knew. This included his knowledge of combat, of course. You see, in Goblin society family is just about the biggest part of people's lives. So of course, the family wanted revenge, but they were all skilled in the trades of farming or stone cutting rather than war. Steb was the only soldier in the family and of course he couldn't do it being the age he was so it was up to Zax to gain revenge for the family. Originally, Zax was being taught how to be a full blown centurion tank who would take his enemies head on, but Steb soon realized that Zax was better fit for the 'rogue' type of fighting. He trained him in the art of stealth and Zax was practically a prodigy. By the time he was ready to leave home he was also ready to get his revenge. He began to track the Wood Elves using money, charm and favours he had gained on his journey in order to find and kill the three. He travelled far and wide, accepting various assassin jobs along with thieving his way into profit along the way until he had finally killed the three murderers. After which, he began to live his life as a thief, gradually becoming better and better with his heists becoming larger and larger. It came to the day when he found the largest heist he had ever thought of. A large, noble manor, filled to the bring with antiques and valuables. He planned it out for months, finding the best ways into and out of the manor along with where they had hidden their most valuable possessions. On the night of the break in though, things went wrong. The youngest child living in the manor had woken up and saw Zax sneaking around, he screamed and brought the night guard sprinting around. Unfortunately, Zax was caught off guard by the crossbow bolt piercing his hand and was sent tumbling to the floor. He woke up the next day in a jail cell. Luckily enough though, Zax was smarter than your average cell warden. He beckoned him over to the cell and when the warden was close enough, Zax leaped up and choked him to unconsciousness using the chains that had been left on him. He stole the jail keys and escaped. After that, he began to do smaller heists rather than the large ones he had been building up to and kept moving throughout the lands in order to avoid being caught. Weapons: -One shortsword -Two Daggers -Multiple throwing knives -A small crossbow that he spent quite a bit of 'dosh' getting made to fit his small stature Magic: Knows a few basic illusion spells, one for partial invisibility and one to make noises in other locations.
