Rifles weren't used in the Renaissance as far as I know.

Who controls the nations on the southern side of the map?

I'm the River Kingdom of Kant. And just so you know, there's a list on the first page of all the players and their nation.

There is also two people that might make a nation in that area.

You're probably going to have to change your magic section. Magic is supposed to be incredibly rare, like the number of magic-users in your nation has to be around the single digits.

Hey yog, wanna push the myraratur republic west of that river when we begin? It would mean no tax on our trade when using the river. It would also be easier since it's NPC now

sure, it means we can sail to each other nations in a straight line

Ya, I wasn't allowed 30 magic users. Only 2.

Edit: after we push the rats back, I just need to turn that river into a canal. Shouldn't be too hard, the land seems flat and the distance to the bay from the river is small.

You have Cannons, larger military size then me, more population then me, also like I said in my description of my nation most buildings are made out of wood. Making my cities vulnerable to fire. My nation can't produce cannons and is only just starting to create muskets, along with the natural difference of the mountains near you while still being close to land means you still can expand into the center of the land. My nation on the other hand is separated by the sea which means I can be cut off from supplies and among other items and I have no where I can easily expand towards.

But of course I will change my sheet if Golem wants me too

I'm just saying that that's what he's told everyone else. He made it very clear that he wanted magic to be unique and legendary, not commonplace. Plus being an island isn't only a downside. First of all, that's a big island and it'd be very hard to completely blockade it. Not to mention that people have to load their armies on boats in order to get there in the first place.

And guys, don't start discussing what you're going to do with the nation of the guy who left. I don't see any reason to make it an NPC instead of just saying it doesn't exist.

Then the spots on reserve should be LISTED. There's only so much room, I would like to know specifically what land isn't taken or reserved before I attempt to join.

I believe it's this: http://i1053.photobucket.com/albums/s475/MrAzuryZ/Untitled-1_zpsb05f9ed8.jpg

And Golem doesn't put anyone on the map until they're accepted.

I like NPCs, they make the RP interesting. I didn't mean to be rude when discussing myraratur republic.

I suppose we'll have to wait for word from Golem on the matter, but I just kind of assumed everywhere not claimed by one of us was occupied by little NPC nations. After all, it doesn't make much sense for there to be massive swathes of completely unpopulated land.

The land can easily be populated by villages not under any nations control

Then I guess I'll just take my leave. I don't want to cause more confusion with my own. I also don't think I'll enjoy the heavy trade thing that's going on.

You can take any of the land in the south part of the map that's in the east. How about the piece of land right under the o shaped circle?
