Ellen glanced at Annaliese as she voiced her opinion on where they should go. Ellen didn't really like either option, honestly, but if there was no third choice, she knew which way she wanted to go. "I, err, think forest would be better," she said, her voice timid and somewhat shaky. "I mean, if we went through the desert, we'd probably die of starvation and dehydration." "Among other things," Lopmon added. "Yeah..." Ellen awkwardly shifted her weight from one foot to the the other. "If we go through the forest, it will be cool, there will be spots to take shelter, and w-we're more likely to find food. Like.... mushrooms, fruit and all that stuff." As she spoke, Ellen suddenly wished she hadn't thought about food because she now felt a little hungry. Less than an hour ago, she had been back home in her warm house, her parents sitting round the table and the whole lot of them feasting happily on pancakes. Now that she was alone in a strange place with a group of strangers, she now deeply wished she had something to consume, be it a full meal or simply a biscuit. She needed some kind of sustenance.
