Jaden Jaden had anticipated Eli's response, quickly forming a thick sphere of hyper-dense bone around him. The flames burned up the first few layers pretty well, but Jaden was deep in the sphere and didn't feel anything but the impact. Once he was on the ground he sprung out, breaking through the now-useless burnt outer layer, making sure to take every piece of mass he could still use, before looking to see Eli escape. He didn't move to give pursuit, he knew he wouldn't make it in time to stop them. Instead, he turned to face the strange construct that bore the appeance of Olivia, listening to it put to words what he already knew. As she burst forward, Jaden did move an inch, instead growing a number of super sensitive hairs attached straight to his nervous system, able to feel her movements through the air. When he felt her about to strike, he blocked with his arm, weakening the bones so that the blade sank in deep, then quickly rehardening them to keep it in place. He then spawned a barrage of tendrils, intent on wrapping them around her swordarm before she could escape, then kicking her away. "Return to your Master, I haven't the time to quarrel with you." He said as he reacted, his voice disjointed and crackling as it came from his monstrous mouth. Sebastian A ways away, a red-haired man collapsed outside of an apartment building, which soon opened up to reveal the owners who quickly pulled the injured man inside. They laid him on the couch of their ground floor suite, and attempted to wake him up. "Hey now," the man said, giving a glance towards the woman as he did so, "Are you all right?" "F-----. . . . . you. . ." The red-head replied weakly, beckoning the two closer. As this was happening, a 13-year old girl, dressed in a simple white top and some skinny-jeans, came from another room, curious as to what was going on. The red head turned to look at her, his eyes burning with dark amusement that seemed to say 'Watch this,' before turning back to the other two, speaking inma sing-sing voice this time. "Fooled You!" From his back sprouted two large red tendrils, grasping each adult tightly around their throats to keep them from screaming. "You know, letting a stranger into your home. . . pretty stupid if you ask me. It was kind of you and I appreciate it, but still rather stupid." Sebastian chuckled as he got up, walking over to the girl with a psychotic smile on his face. "Now then, how am I going to deal with you all." ((To be Continued))
