When the alarm sounded throughout the base, Legion had found his way into a hanger alongside the airstrip. He was pretty sure he didn't have the proper credentials to be in here, let alone to be flipping switches in the jet he was currently sitting in. Nate had decided to don his full Legion gear for his first official day on the job and it admittedly felt more comfortable than even his street gear. A couple of duplicates were on the ground, poking around the wing of the plane and when the alarm sounded, his military instincts kicked in and he started towards the open hanger door. He had only gone a few steps before he stopped himself though, remembering that he wasn't in the military anymore. If they wanted him, they'd call for him directly. But they hadn't done that and so after dipping his head in thought for a moment, he headed back to the plane to continue his inspection. The Legion in the cockpit leaned out slightly and looked down at the duplicate as he returned. He had felt a compulsion to go check in with command too. Damn, his old bosses sure had him trained well. In the old days, if an alarm sounded in the old days he either had to check in or run for the hills. But this wasn't the old days and thankfully there were no enemy bullets whizzing past his head...Yet. He turned his attention to outside the hanger where he spotted none other than the boss man himself. There were a couple of others with him, Light included, but he didn't care about any of them. His eyes locked on the Owlman. He had heard about this guy but never actually seen him. He found himself fascinated by the owl. It wasn't often a mutated meta became so popular and he found himself wondering what it was about the Owlman that so many people seemed to like. He considered heading over and introducing himself but decided against it. That would only draw too much attention to him. The last thing he needed on his first day was the boss asking him what he was doing poking around one of his expensive planes. Besides, they were obviously in a rush. Some commotion involving the underground movement according to the message the boss had bellowed over the tannoy. Best just to wait until everything calmed down before introducing himself. Of course then the excitement only got amped up even further. As Nate pulled himself out of the plane, someone came exploding through the main building, crash landing on the airfield with a girl in his arms. All three Legions watched as the burning man tumbled to a stop and dropped a woman he had been carrying. It took him a moment but when Legion realized who this man was, he turned to his duplicates, who seemed to have made the identification too. Eli Craigh? As the boss man and his buddies raced to the downed pair, Legion's attention shifted to the woman. Even from this distance he could see that she was covered in blood. Gunshot wound he guessed. He had both given and received a few over the years. Many had been fatal and from the placement of the one the woman now sported, he suspected she might not make it. What a shame. She was kinda cute. Legion made his way slowly to the open hanger door and leaned against the wall as he continued to watch the scene unfold. Man, this place was crazy.
Legion pokes around a plane, watches things happen.
