Super-Liv
Despite her speed, the clone was caught by the tendrils. Hissing softly, she was pulled towards Jaden. She even briefly considered chopping her own arm off - it was just a physical manifestation so it would grow back in time anyways. As it stood, however, she didn't need to engage in self-destruction as he kicked her away. Rolling to a stop, she was on her feet within seconds. "It's mistress, Jaden McFadden." The clone stated clearly, leaping up in a quick dash that would have been followed by a devastating blow from her sword. Instead, the sound of a helicopter drew close and she chose to roll away from Jaden. "The next time you see her, you better hope that you leave her untouched. I will have no choice but to split you from end to end if you proceed to harm her." Giving him a quick nod, the clone sheathed her blade and dragged her hood up. As she spun, she dipped down into a crouch before suddenly exploding into a million dancing slivers of light. They seemed to float for a second before gracefully floating down to the ground where they evaporated.
Ruby
Ruby was lying, waiting like a cat ready to pounce on the unfortunate mouse which had been lured out by the scent of cheese. She picked up on Alto's beacon almost as soon as it was placed down by her so-called rescuer. She lay in bed for a few minutes, waiting, knowing that Harper would arrive within a minute or two. And so he did, jaunting into her room and subsequently, her trap. Ruby laid for a few extra seconds, pretending to be still asleep. Surprise was her friend here and once he turned to leave, she would have the perfect opportunity. Just as she heard the door open, her hand grasped the small device she had engineered a few nights beforehand. Spinning with a surprising speed for a measly technopath, she levelled the device at him and slammed her fingers against the side buttons. It spat two hissing cables which imbedded themselves in his skin and delivered an instant electric shock. Getting to her feet, she retracted the two cables and pocketed the device before creeping closer to Harper's shuddering body. It was hard to tell but she was very certain that he was out cold. "I'm sorry, Harper, I never wanted this... They forced my hand." She whispered, her hands shakily turning him over - Harper was a tough nut and he could very well be awake. "Try not to get yourself killed." Ruby whispered once again as she slipped a small phone into his pocket.
