I've got a post written on paper, so after work and a homework assignment I can type it up. I have some ideas about this supernatural community that I came up with while writing and I think I should maybe run them by you in case you have input.

I had the idea that there are several different witch covens in the local area, like there are many vampire families and presumably were packs. In order to own a business like Aggie's you would need to be aligned with a coven and can only sell to members of the same coven (and maybe a few allies). Aggie isn't aligned with a coven and sells to anyone, which is why her business isn't strictly legal. I got the impression from the last post that Cam is kinda blackmailing her to help him out in return for his silence, which I like. Perhaps Aggie's lack of alignment is a reoccurring conflict. Also maybe vampire families employ a witch, since I have ideas for Aggie's and Ian's history. What kind of vamp lore do you want to use, by the way?

Oh my goodness, I love it. That makes drama easy to come by. And as for vamp lore, I don't really care how it goes, as long as there are no sparkling vampires... unless they've been soaked in immense amounts of water and happen to be under light. Ha ha. To be honest, I do like the idea of venom injection to turn a human, if we get to that point though.

Thanks~ I was intending for her side business to be legit but when you had Cam imply it wasn't I kept thinking of the possibilities for drama ha. Yeah, definitely no sparkling vampires. Would be interesting to have a newly turned vampire at some point in the future, though. I guess what I'm most familiar with are the Vampire Diaries vampires, but I'm fine with making our own/ combining different lore.

Vampire Diaries! <3 I love how their vampires work, I just hate writing out the whole turning thing, if you wanted to go with that I am so totally cool with that! I know the universe with the Vampire Diaries very well, aside from like seasons five and six.

I was a regular watcher for seasons one through three but I fell behind because of college and can't catch up. But I am familiar with the vampire lore from that show. Ian and other high class vampire families could all have rings that witches make for them that allow them to walk in the sure. We'll where this first investigation leads, then maybe we can introduce new ones. Maybe a freshly turned vampire would be an interesting future plot line for Ian.

I like it. It makes sense. Just like I see there being more sirens than just Dahlia. Ones that followed her there, and aren't as adjusted.to life in a city like she is, so they don't understand how to cover their tracks like she does.

Ooh that sounds interesting, too. I'm thinking of things for Ian to do while Cam and Aggie are investigating. Perhaps and he and Dahlia run into each other a bit later. In the evening maybe.
