Oh so Eli had noticed him at Lattetude. Maybe he wasn't as dense as Nate first assumed him to be. He wasn't sure how he had picked up on the fact that Nate had a thing for Raven though. He nodded as Eli admitted that he had trouble with women, a voice in the back of his head telling him "Maybe you and this guy have more in common than we thought". He shook his head gently as though trying to shake that thought out of his head. It was true that Nate did have trouble with women sometimes. But only the ones he really liked. He'd flirt with pretty much anyone with breasts and be the most confident person on the planet but when it was someone like Raven, someone he actually found himself caring about, he was like a little boy. All tongue tied and stupid. But the thought that he could have anything in common with Eli Craigh was just annoying. He reminded himself, however, that he didn't actually know this guy. He only knew what he had read. Maybe he should at least try to get to know him. When Eva Adams walked in, Nate's smile only grew. As Eli introduced him as "some shitdick" he beamed at her. That dazzling smile that had won over so many. He had become a master of the pleasant smile, using it to charm people to his side. As Eli began to dress, Nate offered his hand to Eva in greeting, still smiling as he said "Pleasure to meet you. Your boss really is a wonderful human being isn't he?" The smile and pleasant words masked his true feelings. Eli was admittedly kind of an ass. But then so was Nate. Another thing they had in common. Damn it. As Eli asked for a guided tour of the facility, Nate tossed his eyes towards the ceiling in thought. Could he show Eli around? He had only just gotten here himself a matter of hours beforehand. He was hardly the best person to show him around. But the thought of food made him agree. "Sure!" he said with maybe a little too much enthusiasm. He had seen a cafeteria somewhere around here. He began to walk out ahead of Eli and Eva, waving his hand for them to follow. "I'm sure we can find something that at least vaguely resembles food around here" [@AcerRo]
