Agreed,[@Mahz]. While it could possibly be done with a lot of work, it doesn't feel to us like the work required to do it fully would be worth the end result. Small boon simply doesn't justify immense work in the long run. 

The IRC function of being used for chatroom RPs is underutilized on the guild irc, so that would be worth implementing, though. But that actually doesn't require an irc client to be built in. Just something similar, like the websocket thing in your post above.

If we throw out twenty-three bad ideas for every good/feasible one, we still feel that is worth it.
