Nono, Restaurant District, Yggdrasil Nono didn't put too much thought into the chef's appearance, well aware that such things could be deceiving. Look at her, for example. Anyone now would think she was a normal girl, not a machine created to protect humanity from a hostile galaxy that was actively trying to kill them. And the chef was nothing compared to that. Eating a bit of her own food Nono couldn't help but smile, even in a bit of a resigned manner, as Saber devoured what was left of her meal, before announcing her desire for more. Hardly anything unusual there, to say the least. It was like she had a black hole for a stomach too. As the chef wandered away, Nono couldn't help but give Saber another look over, both as a check with scanners, the other as more of an appreciative gesture. "Onee-sama," she said with appreciation in her tone. "I still can't believe you can eat that all and have more. I mean, i know you eat a lot, but it's like it just vanishes or something." She paused, head tilted towards the ceiling as a thought occurred to her. "Well, I guess it would make sense with all the physical activity, but I don't think the human body is capable of converting energy that fast." admittedly, Saber wasn't entirely human, and it wasn't as if Nono could talk when it came to eating, but it was an innocent comment nonetheless, to distract from the great issues at hand. At least, until they left here and had to face them. She could do that much for her Onee-sama. --- Misaka 10032, Client World Macross Misaka continued forward, intent on doing what she had been sent to do, her vision alternating between normal and that of her goggles, sliding them over her eyes every once in a while to confirm directions, though the robot dominating the skyline was generally hard to miss. It also looked like it had seen heavy use, though the damage had been patched up. And undoubtedly, Academy City could make something like this if pressed, not that there was a need to. "'Yes,' Misaka affirms with growing excitement and anticipation as she looks upon the large emplaced strcutre," Misaka told Marisa, with the Witch now beside her. It seemed that their companion was eager to see it as well, if they could get inside. That said, she shifted towards Kakine, to address his concerns about their destination. "'Analysis of radio communications and traffic flow indicates that Battle Frontier serves as the military headquarters for the New United Nations,' Misaka informs her partner in a manner intended to persuade. 'Assessing military capabilities of other worlds is part of our exploration parameters'." With that said she moved along the road towards the bridges that crossed the gap between the shore and the Battle Frontier's large arms, to board it and begin their investigation. It was sure to be interesting. --- Cinder Fall, Shadow Eternity HQ Now that was interesting, Cinder thought to herself as she noted, and ignored the shifting of the girl inside the tube. Her own posture was relaxed, like a panther that could spring to the hunt at any moment. And yet determining the kind of creature the Leader was, was a lot more difficult, given how she acted, what she did, her professed motives. It seemed that nothing was simple these days, but Cinder didn't mind too much. "And what makes her worthy," Cinder inquired further, giving a more calculating look to the girl in the tube, resisting the slight rise in anger and concurrent subtle spike in temperature. "She seemed to be a fairly normal girl, slight differences notwithstanding." It was no different than that Tmeplar robot girl that was Ironwood's pet project. A being masquerading as a human? Well, that applied to an even larger segment of the population. Now hen, time to see what could be learned from this.
