Jaden As Owl-man approached from behind, more tendrils appeared from Jaden's back, these ones baring jagged clawed graspers and covered in movement sensitive hairs. Upon feeling Owl man approach, they lashed out with a frightening speed, like that of a snake, seeking to sing their claws into the Meta's body. If they succeedded, they would then begin to smash the bird-man repeatedly into the ground until he stopped moving, whether that meant he was dead or not was not important, in which case they'd then detach from Jaden and wrapp around the Owl tightly, almost bone-breakingly so. [@Gentlemanvaultboy]
Spiny tendrils exploded out of this persons back, and The Owlman felt them puncture into him. Into his chest, into his legs, into his wings. It was like being shot. Then they began to throw him around, smashing him into the ground over and over. He tried to protect his wings by pulling them back in, but that was a mistake. The tendrils got in the way, jamming them and leaving them out at odd angles. There was a sickening cracks as he felt one of them just snap from the force of the impact. He tried to grip a few of them, snip them off of him with his grip, but then wold was a maelstrom of wild movement followed by intense pain. He could barely get a grip on the ones in his chest before he was being whipped to the other side of the room again. He saw the floor coming at him and turned his head so the impact at least wouldn't break anything important, and felt something oozing down the back of his neck. Feathers were everywhere. He found one, two tendrils and snipped them between during the lulls right after the pain, but the only thing it seemed to do was cause him to the flung even more wildly than before. He was passing out. He was going to pass out. He was going to die. Images flashed in his vision for just a moment, just as blurs of motion. Was the Light? Was the Spectrum? Then he heard a distant explosion, a rush of rubble, and everything went black.
